Skeletal system is the system that determines the shape or the body, and protects the organs. It works closely together with the muscular system to allow us to move. It is made up of bones, ligaments and tendons.

The human skeleton is divided into two distinct parts:
Trunk | 躯干 |
The skull | 头骨 |
The sternum | 胸骨 |
The ribs | 肋骨 |
The vertebral column | 脊椎骨 |
The appendicular skeleton is composed of bones that anchor the appendages to the axial skeleton.
Appendicular skeleton | 附肢骨骼 |
The upper extremities (arms)
Upper arm bone = Humerus | 上臂骨 |
Ulna | 尺骨 |
Lower arm bone = Radius | 下臂骨 |
The lower extremities
Thighbone = Femur | 大腿骨 |
Shinebone = Tiba | 胫骨 |
Calf bone = Fibula | 小腿骨 |
The shoulder girdle 肩带
