招聘职位#1:

PR and Communications Manager

Wine Australia China SH


Wine Australia invests heavily in communicating and sharing knowledge and information about its activities and news around the globe. Helping develop and deliver the Global Communication Strategy across China is the key priority of the role.


Working closely with the Global Communications and Social Marketing team in Sydney and Adelaide, the role should ensure optimum coverageis achieved for all activities, and news relevant to Wine Australia operations.

 

This role is also responsible for:

  • Deepening the relationship and connection with key stakeholders inthe respective PR and Communication units.

  • Management of Wine Australia social media accounts, executing campaigns and reporting on performance.

  • Pro-actively managing the database of highly respected andrelevant media contacts and nurturing and developing the contacts as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In-line with the Global Communication Strategy, maintain and develop constructive and supportive engagement with key opinion leaders such as Journalists, sommeliers, importer/distributors, wine educators and other influential KOLs – aiming to generate positive, exciting and interesting media coverage about Australian wine.

  • Develop and implement Public Relations campaigns that leverage and amplify Wine Australia’s market development initiatives and events, targeting trade and consumer lifestyle media.

  • Develop and execute the global social media strategy working inclose conjunction with the Social Marketing Manager and Global Communications Manager.  Manage Wine Australia’s social media platforms (such as WeChat andWeibo) by planning, writing and posting content, monitoring and reporting on coverage and engagement.

  • Prepare, review and distribute media materials – for example dual languagee-newsletters, export statistics reporting, media releases, fact sheets, website content etc.

  • Draft and distribute all digital communications to stakeholders in China using platforms such as Mailchimp.

  • Proactively support HQ with the development of the Wine Australia corporate and consumer websites.

  • Undertake daily monitoring of media coverage and share reporting with the global team. 

  • Develop post-campaign media and communications reports.

  • Manage, and in consultation with HQ and RGM North Asia, respond to enquiries from media, consumer-, government- or trade-related bodies.

  • Build and manage effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and manage all relevant personal information on the ‘Media Contacts Database’.

  • Liaise with and manage agency partners.

  • Contribute to event management including media hosting, event promotion, event publicity, and other support to projects as reasonably required.

  • Support the China team with other activities as necessary and as reasonably required.

  • Maintaining close relationships with all stakeholders and relevant partners.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • University educated.

  • Chinese national with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in English and reasoning capability.

  • Self-motivated, attention to detail, outgoing, team player and willing to travel.

  • At least 3–5 years’ experience in communication and media-related management.

  • Recent experience in an MNC or foreign government organisation in China, especially engaged in media management and PR.

  • Strong understanding of the Chinese social media landscape.

  • Interesting/creative writing style – especially relevant for social media postings.

  • The ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects; managing conflicts and working to tight deadlines.

  • An active user and comfortable/very familiar with Chinese social media communication.

  • Some understanding/appreciation of the Chinese wine market would be an advantage.

  • Desire to embrace and understand the Australian wine sector.


招聘职位#2:

Marketing Officer

Wine Australia China SH

Working with internal and external stakeholders, the Marketing Officer’s primary focusis to support the planning, implementation and execution of marketing functions that promote Australian wine and playing a key role in the delivery of marketing activity and events across China (and potentially beyond). Provideall necessary support to the efficient operation of the Shanghai office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing and Events

  • Support the planning, organisation and delivery of marketing and events as directed.

  • Deliver projects on-time and within budget.

  • Meet other deadlines and always maintain great attention to detail.

  • Develop, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities.

  • Ensure projects adhere to agreed KPI’s and deliverables.

  • Manage tasks from inception to completion.

  • Deliver ad-hoc marketing support and assistance with promotional activity/projects when requested.

  • Ensure functions are focused on promoting Australian fine wine and positive relationship building.

  • Ensure relevant databases are accurate and up to date.

Sponsorship Management

  • Coordinate and deliver approved sponsorships aligned to strategy.

  • Ensure relevant sponsorships meet agreed objectives.

  • Be the first point of contact for relevant sponsorship-related communication.

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain and develop external relationships as necessary.  

  • Maintain timely communication with stakeholders.

  • Maintain local, industry and inter-agency relationships.

  • Manage wine supply for tastings, dinners and other promotional opportunities and activities.

  • Ensure excellent customer service and quality delivery.

  • Ensure stakeholder contact list is accurate and up to date.

Wine Logistics

  • Support Call for Wine activities as required.

  • Maintain China wine inventory.

  • Arrange shipment of wines as needed for events and media.

Other reasonable duties as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualification/s:

  • Tertiary qualificationsin Marketing or other discipline relevant to supporting the wine industry.

  • Chinese National with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • At least 3~5 years’ experience in Marketing, Event Planning, Project Management and execution, ideally in an MNC.

  • Well-developed stakeholder management skills.

  • Digital marketing knowledge and experience.

  • The ability to sustain focus on conflicting priorities and deliver at pace with consistent quality.

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently to complete tasks.

  • Ability to identify opportunities to improve work systems and implement changes in collaboration with the wider team.

  • Attention to details.

  • Enthusiasm, team player, high energy levels and a good sense of humour.

  • Wine knowledge would be a preference, but not a pre-requisite, wine appreciation though is important.
