经常被学生问及：雅思G类作文是不是比A类好考很多？答：非也！因为G类小作文难就难在写信任务耗时在想象编故事，考试的最大敌人是时间。
而A类小作文，无需煞费苦心，而是提笔就写，见啥撩啥，直截了当。
学生这时会逼问：可流程图是我们的痛点、泪点耶，特别是小女生不知从何下笔？答：非也！因为流程图都有机关暗道，拿到🔑就可破门而入、潇洒阳关路。

流程图历来就考的，不是动物生命循环图，有没有？如春蚕吐丝、三文鱼产卵。就是雨水回收装置，要么就是各种环保发电，含风能、潮汐、太阳能和地热。最新的剑12里就是描述一个地热发电的流程。最招人喜欢的莫过于巧克力、薯片的制作过程，写着写着mouth water如馋馋流水。

剑12 - Geothemal Power Plant
首先，把题目读几遍，划出关键字，如：geothemal energy, produce electricity. 难字 －geothemal??? 拆 － 猜：geo-, themal，再联想geology （地质学）themometer （温度计）从而猜出意思 － 跟地底下有关，跟温度有关。你猜对了 － 地热！
然后，再按图顺序指向，浏览几遍图形，并密切留意那些文字、箭头。。。信手把名词都变成动词及其同义词写出来，语言考试啊，这不是绘图测验，对吧？
pumped - pumper, injection - inject/shoot, well (名词，水井) - shaft, condenser - condense, generator - generate/produce;
其实，掌握以下几个要点，流程图就迎刃而解：
1）一般现在时；
2）被动语态；
3）顺序副词和短语；
不像其他数据图和地图题，流程图没有时间背景，时态可以单一化；但，被动语态可能成为许多考生的软肋、短板，因为很多人临考了还对不规则动词的过去分词形式不清不楚！

2. The production starts from cold fluid contained in a chamber on the ground.
3. Then, the water is shot down through pumping to a 4.5-kilometer-high shaft that lies underground.

5. Then the boiling water is sent into the production well where the water is pumped back into a larger container where the heated water is pressurised and transformed into steam.
6. The steam makes the turbine rotate, which allows the generator to produce electricity.

8. In summary, like other means of producing power, the geothermal power plant involves electricity-generating equipment such as a turnbine and a generator. However, the difference exists in the usage of natural underground heat energy.
