LAB与XO-Projects共同参与了深圳湾超级总部基地的城市设计竞赛，基地旨在建造一个全新的金融中心，为全球知名企业及相关场所提供国际会议，展览和文化创意项目的总部办公室。该提案名为“云中漫步”，是指一个适宜步行的，多节点的总体规划概念，侧重于通过水平和垂直功能的无缝连结以及优先考虑公共性的城市原则来应对这些挑战。

TheShenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base aims to create a new financial centre withtop headquarter offices for global corporations and related venues forinternational conferences, exhibitions, and cultural programs.The masterplan proposal by XO-Projects and LAB is a pedestrian-friendly, multi-nodal masterplan concept that focuses on addressing these challenges with seamless integration of horizontal and vertical functions and urban principles thatprioritize publicness.

深圳湾超级总部定位为“城市在全球经济产业链条中终极地位的典型代表，深圳发展成为世界级城市的一个功能中心”，连接多处深圳市交通枢纽，将汇聚最具实力、最具影响力、在世界经济网络具有核心凝聚力和辐射作用的全球标杆企业，吸引此类企业在深圳湾设立总部或分支机构。本地区将成为提供体验深圳滨海生活方式的城市地区；展现城市社会面貌与建设标准的核心地区；同时也将成为应对深圳市文化创新和新经济需求的平台与深圳参与区域和城市间竞合的有效载体。

Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters is positioned as“a typical representative of the city’s ultimate position in the globaleconomic industrial chain. Shenzhen has developed into a functional center ofworld-class cities.” It connects many transportation hubs in Shenzhen and willbring together the most powerful and influential. The global benchmarkingenterprise with core cohesiveness and radiation in the world economic networkattracts such enterprises to set up headquarters or branches in Shenzhen Bay.The region will become an urban area that offers a sense of Shenzhen’s coastallifestyle; a core area that demonstrates the city’s social outlook andconstruction standards.

规划策略 Starategy

云中漫步 Walking in the clouds

多向连接在水平和垂直方向上同时发生。为了避免快速交通系统人行流线的破坏性，Skyline空中走廊采用数学设计系统，实现矩形对角线的快速连接，不仅提供了连续，高效的连接系统，同时创造了该区域的公共领域新特征。我们认为，对角线的快捷且多向连接方式更加合理，实际上，该系统也可以节省更多空间和出行时间。城市街区和建筑物之间的连接在步行接近处最大化，并且在材料需求方面最小化，从而为街道层提供更多的孔隙度。

The multidirectional connectivity ishappening horizontally and vertically. To avoid the disruptive nature of thefast traffic, the Skyline suggest nearly mathematical design system for thepedestrian flow; a diagonal stream of fast connections, which provideuninterrupted and very efficient connective system, that creates new characterand public realm of the area.The diagonal shortcuts and multidirectionalconnections are more rational as they seem at the first glance. In reality,they provide space and time saving.Connections between urban block andbuildings are maximised in walking proximities and minimised in materialrequirements, providing more porosity to the street level.

The Skyline connects directly with the sea area– theheadquarters base is docking the Binhai Avenue underpass with public amenities,cultural programs and performing venues. The established metro lines, carroutes and other 35% of the land area are occupied with the already assignedand running projects. The new structural plan is integrating these projects above the ground and allowing them to "get connected" on to the Skyline network,which is creating diagonal shortcuts over most of the development area. The Skyline network is running at the height of eleven meters and twenty metersabove the existing ground, connecting podiums via two pedestrian loops: there creational green path and the cultural / art path. While joining the urbanstructure, it forms the social and also economical identity of the district.

Landmark

深圳是一个高层建筑聚集的城市，平均建筑年龄刚刚超过7年。The Skyline 区域将作为深圳超高层建筑的阵列的衍生，但不是作为一组独立的塔楼，而是作为一个综合使用的超级经济枢纽矩阵。中央大楼作为新的金融中心，位于地铁站上方，与会议中心无缝连接，并向沿海公园的文化设施延伸。主塔的深层裙楼基座空间上围绕着Skyline 空中走廊伸入该裙楼的对角轴线而建，功能设施上上支持着额外的酒店和会议中心。

Shenzhen is acity of High Rise, with the average building age just above 7 years. TheSkyline area will extend the array of Shenzhen’s tall buildings, however not asa set of stand-alone towers but as a matrix of integrated, mixed-used superhubs. The central building is the new financial centre, above the metrostation, which is seamlessly connected with the convention center and spreadingtowards the cultural amenities of the coastal park.The deep podium base of the main tower is mirroredaround the Skyline diagonal axis into the podium that is supporting anadditional hotel and convention center amenities.

Pubilc Space

The elevated footbridges are public corridors, designed as communitydrivers for business and residences. They are double used infrastructure,allowing quick and safe pedestrian passage, and at the same time offeringplaces to rest and to meet. Central park and coastal promenade are natur alextensions of the Skyline. The north-south central park offers recreational and cultural services, and at the same time forms the main shopping street in thearea. The coastal stretch is operating similarly; it hosts many cultural and hospitality amenities, which provide different character to the city during theweek and over the weekend.
