新的城市发展坐落于敏感的绿色区域中，沿着新的公共设施节点展开，同时连接了深圳和汕尾两座城市。“创新，协调，绿色，开放和分享。” 我们的提案引入了具体的战略工具，这些工具将上述的一般性原则场地特定化， 并与当地文化，环境和经济有机融合。

Thenew urban development is located in a sensitive green area, alongside newpublic facility nodes, connecting two cities, Shenzhen and Shanwei.

Our proposal introduces specific strategic tools that define the general principles aboveand integrate them with local culture, environment and economy.

 Urban Branding Manual - Five Characteristics 

该总体规划基于五个主要设计原则来设计新城市的发展， 这些原则基于“创新，协作，绿色，开放和共享”的区域愿景。

Themasterplan is based on five key design principles to design new urband evelopments based on a regional vision of “innovation, collaboration, green,openness and sharing”.

1. 城市和群岛   City and Islands

2. ‘二分之一’深圳   ‘one-half’ Shenzhen

3. 综合‘海绵城市’ Comprehensive ‘sponge city’

4. 玉脊  Jade Spine’

5. 人民的城市 4.0 People's City 4.0

北部城市网格

交通枢纽所在的城市北部将是一个理性网格为260MX260M的城市。小街道插入南北穿过街区的中间。河流，小山等现有的自然景观成为城市中独特的公园。

Northerncity grid

Thenorthern part of the city where the transportation hub is located will be acity with a rational grid of 260MX260M. Small streets are located from north tosouth through the middle of the street block. Existing natural landscapes suchas rivers and hills have become unique parks in the city.

南部群岛

南部行政区周围将划分为四个群岛。每个城市的面积为2-4平方公里（主要为2-2.5平方公里左右）。他将成为嵌入森林里的紧凑型城市，每个城市有独特的城市编织和功能特征。

SouthernIslands

Thesouthern administrative district will be divided into four islands. Each cityhas an area of 2-4 square kilometers (mainly about 2-2.5 square kilometers). Hewill be a compact city embedded in the forest, each with unique urban weaving andfunctional features.

深汕特别合作区，将建设成为是集聚最先进理念、最前沿科技的产业高地；生态优美、诗意栖居的生活福地；多元族群并存、文化交融荟萃的人文胜地。美丽新深汕，一定会是人们共建共享、和谐美好的幸福家园。

TheCentral Area of the Special Cooperation Zone (SCZ) will be built into anindustrial highland where the most advanced concepts and cutting-edge technologies are gathered; the beautiful and ecologically lived poetry; the multi-ethnic coexistence and cultural integration. Beautiful and new, it willsurely be a happy home for people to build, share and live in harmony.
