校长Deborah Barker周三写信给家长,表示学校不会再继续进行该研究项目。
该调查提出的问题包括:年轻男性感到成为“真正的男人”的压力,他们是否乐意有一个同性恋朋友,以及他们吸毒、饮酒和吸食的频率。
男孩们被要求评论以下内容:“其他人认为我很好看”,“我不太喜欢我的父母”,“成为同性恋使一个人看起来不像个男人”,“如果有必要,一个人应该使用暴力来获得尊重”。

但St Kevin College的一些家长和学生对问题的语气和内容表示反对。
