“outsider”: 局外人
这种感觉就是你去参加一个party，之后发现里面除了你朋友，你完全不知道和谁说话，就算说话，也不知道说什么，你可以说 I feel like an outsider in that damn party.
“prevail”: 文中的这个词是战胜。prevail还可以理解为普遍存在的意思。
雅思日常中，比如你说重男轻女这个东西，Those superficial beliefs still prevail among certain social/age groups. 这些迷信的想法在特定的社会/年龄层群体仍然很盛行。

雅思写作中，只要犯罪话题，青少年教育问题，问你，政府能干嘛，学校可以做什么，父母又有何用，你就把这些表达给丢进去。
