无论是雅思还是PTE考试，写作文章都要尽量让人看上去较为“Academic”。

当然这并不代表你要用很多让外国人都不太看得懂的“大词”（用得不对只会让你扣分），而是要精准的使用书面语表达你的意思。

今天给大家介绍一些——用了立刻“涨姿势”的学术词汇。

1. In response to

当你想说

“响应；回答；对XX做出反应”的时候

请不要用 “as a reaction to sth”

这么普通的表达了~

例句1： In response to Ethiopia’s food crisis, the US government increased

its aid contributions of both food and currency.

例句2：The government invested more money in its security forces in response to recent acts of terrorism.

2. As a function of

当你想说

“作为XX的责任”的时候

请不要用“play a XXX role”
