Speaking of a piece of jewelry, I want to talk about the watch I got from my girl friend Jenny on last Valentine’s Day.

It has been two years that we guys have been hanging out together. We have a lot in common. We both love English, travelling, watching Hollywood blockbusters (n. 一鸣惊人者) and enjoying scrumptious food. And she is a really sweet girl, intelligent, cute, bubbly, humorous and thoughtful. She has been really sweet to me. On last Valentine’s Day, she gave me a Valentine’s Day gift. It was the Swatch watch irony (n. 金属) chronograph (n. 记时仪) collection-sea pride. It had everything I wanted: stainless strap, royal blue dial, luminous (a. 发光的) hands, chronograph, tachometer and water proofness. The color combination was the greatest ever. Actually, I just said that this watch was gorgeous one day when I was reading magazines. It was totally out of my expectation that she would actually buy it for me. And when she gave it to me, she said to me, “Hope you like this watch. Hope every time you see this watch, it can remind you of me. Happy Valentine’s Day!” I am telling you, this watch and these words totally moved me.

Until today, I am still wearing this watch. It might not be the most stylish one today, but it has sentimental value to me. It is the thing that shines forever.
