对于雅思写作来说，词汇可以分为两大类：

-针对某些话题的话题词汇

-所有话题通用的万能词汇

这两个部分都是同学们需要在写作中像考官展示的，其中话题词汇比较看运气，但是万能词汇确是能够在不同话题中通用的！这些词汇用的好，可以极大程度的让同学们事半功倍的拿到大作文的高分。那么，今天黄老师就来分享几个：

1.万能词汇1 - determinants n. 决定因素

该词可以用于替代cause / lead to / contribute to 等表示导致的词.

比如：A leads to B 👉 A is a (key / crucial / critical) determinant of B.

例句：A crucial piece of the success picture is missed out if one only focuses on personal characteristics in attempting to understand the determinants of success.

2.万能词汇2 - transcend v. 超越

该词可以用于替代more / outweigh / better 等表示更(多)好的词.

比如：A is better than B 👉 A transcends B.

例句：The one dimension of personal luck that transcends all others is to have been born in a highly developed country

3.万能词汇3 - prone to 倾向于

该词可以用于替代more likely to / higher possibility/easy to等表示更倾向的词.

比如：A is more likely to … 👉A is prone to …

例句：they will be more likely to engage with other dropouts prone to committing criminal acts and end up involving in various juvenile delinquencies.

4.万能词汇4 - counterpart n. 对应物

该词可以用于替代others / other 等表示同类对比物的词.

比如：A is better than B(同类对比).👉 A is better than its counterparts.

例句：Teenagers leaving school before this age are more likely to be unemployed, or earn dramatically lower wages than their counterparts who have finished compulsory education.
