State government assesses all the applications in a chronological manner, not based on the points. They take into consideration of the employability, adoption into the community etc as factors when deciding whether or not to grant a visa to the applicant.

州政府按照递交时间顺序来审理州担保申请，而不是按照分数高低来邀请。只要分数达到65分就可以入池进行审理。考量主要因素为就业能力，融入社会程度等。

Approximately, 60% of the quota goes to 489 visas and 40% of them go to 190 visas. Living at Tasmania will be valued reasonably. Taking a holiday overseas or in other states is absolutely fine! But you cannot have a vacation for 6 months away from Tas!

大约60%的配额分配给489的申请者，40%的配额给到190。在塔州的生活时间会被考虑。正常的度假旅行是被允许的，常年生活在其它州是不可以的。

Tasmania Government is still trying to meet their population target. At the moment, their ageing population is sitting at the 31%. The premier quoted that: “It is a great time to be in Tasmania and an even better time to be a Tasmanian. We want more people to call Tasmania home because a bigger Tasmania is a better Tasmania. Population growth strengthens the economy, creates more job opportunities and a greater diversity. That’s why we have created Tasmania’s Population Growth Strategy, which aims to increase our population to 650 000 by 2050.”

州政府还在继续努力达到他们的人口目标，来应对31%的人口老龄化问题。州长明确表示现在是去塔州生活的最好时间。人口增长可以稳固塔州经济，创造就业并且实现塔州的多元化。他们希望在2050年达到65万人口。目前的人口趋势和预订目标并无大的变化。（虽然去的人多，但是远远没有达到州长大人要求：）

Engineers are demanding in Tasmania. According to state government, the employment rate of UTAS graduates in Engineering is reaching approximately 100%. Great opportunities for Engineering Students!

工程专业在塔州非常受欢迎。根据州政府报告，工程专业在塔州有接近100%的就业率。塔州也在进行很多的基础建设工程，非常多的就业机会。

Be super cautious about Private Colleges! The government supports all education providers including private colleges to accommodate the needs of international students. But, do your own research before sending students to those colleges! Don’t send a student to a college to that will be shut down before graduation. Try Public Tafes and Universities first!

读私立学校的要小心了！去之前一定要做好功课，千万不要读到一半学校被关门了。这样一年就GG了。

· Tastafe quota is fulfilled in a very quick manner. They only have small intakes with 30 capacities for some popular courses. Tourism, hospitality, aged care and community services are highly regarded by the state government. Studying 2 years at Tastafe could also lead to PR eventually.

Tastafe的名额比较少，而且满的特别快。有的课程只有30个名额。但是旅游，酒店管理，老年护理和社区服务专业名额还比较多，读两年的tafe还是相当受到塔州官方认可的，有可能直接可以拿190哦。

Holding a 485 visa will not raise concern towards GTE issues. Be quick if you need to study at Tastafe/UTAS.

485签证持有人，申请学校时候，不会有GTE的问题～～（485终于派上大用场了！）

State Government is likely to have formal announcements/meetings of state policies leading to migration after federal migration policy changes in Nov 2019. We will follow closely with the rule changes.
