一、并列

常见的用于并列连接的有：

In addition/and/similarly/likewise/as well as/besides/furthermore/also/moreover/too/not only ... but/even/besides this/that，在这些表达中要牢记词组或者单词的词性，最常用作副词词性表达的有in addition, similarly, furthermore, moreover, besides this.

二、顺序

PTE作文需要罗列几个观点并且按照一定的顺序。常见表示顺序的词有：first/initially/second/to begin with/then/next/earlier/later/following this/that/afterwards/after that/primarily/lastly/finally/last but not least

三、结果

在段落和文章的最后，需要表示前面是后面的结果，也就是这些词后面就开始给出结论，这就是结果的意思，常用的表示结果，因此的表达法如下：

四、转折

在段落表示对前面论述的转折/一般后面才是作者观点或关键性的内容。

五、确定

表示强烈的确定和对观点的肯定强调，用于引出后面作者的坚定论点。
