现在，有越来越多的人远离家乡，去到国外求学工作。很多家长甚至会把年龄尚幼的孩子送到异国他乡去生活。然而，国外不仅有未知的精彩生活，也有着未知的重重危险……

今儿，要给各位带来一点负能量。但是，这份负能量是为了让大家多多提高警觉，也更理性地对待留学这两个字。

总是看到太多澳洲境内的留学生遇袭案件，然而其实在全球，这样的案件都屡见不鲜。

如果拉长望远镜，纵观全球，澳洲还是个个例吗？

Global Times采访了几位曾经或正在国外留学的中国学生，他们分享了自己亲身经历过的危险时刻。

希望下面的这些内容，能让已经或即将身处异国他乡的你（或你的亲友）有所警觉，也有所收获——

2015年的十月，我和我朋友坐在柏林的轻轨上，我面前站着一个男的。这个人看起来40岁左右，穿的破破烂烂的，还一直盯着我们看。我觉得他怪怪的，就尽量避免和他眼神接触。结果他竟然摸起了我的腿，我吓了一大跳，拉着我的朋友起身就走。那男的一路跟了过来，又摸了我朋友的屁股。我朋友试图阻止他，他就开始用我们听不懂的语言朝她大喊大叫。

当时我们真的特别害怕，还好就快到站了。门一打开，我们就赶紧冲了出去，那个男的也没再跟过来了。我其实有点失望当时周围的人没一个来帮助我们，那时候正好是下班高峰，车上有很多人。我们周围的人肯定注意到这边的情况了，但他们都选择保持沉默。而且当我不堪其扰选择起身离开座位的时候，立马就有人坐了下来还假装没看到我被人骚扰。

现在有越来越多的移民涌入柏林，并且他们中有很多人没有固定的工作，整日在街上游荡。我认为我们中国留学生应该避免独自去那些出了名乱的地方，还有晚上绝对不要出门。

采访英文原文：

In October 2015, my friend and I were on a light rail train in Berlin and there was a man standing in front of me. He was about 40 and scruffily dressed. I saw that he was staring at us so I tried to avoid making eye contact with him. Suddenly, he started to touch my legs. I was frightened so I stood up and, with my friend, quickly walked away from him. However, the man did not give up - he followed us and grabbed my friend's bottom. When my friend tried to stop him, he shouted to her in a language we did not understand. 

Fortunately, we were about to get off, so we rushed out immediately when the doors opened. Luckily the man didn't follow us. I really felt a little disappointed with the people around us, since no one came to help us. It was during the rush hour so there were many people standing around us. I was sure they saw what was happening but they chose to remain silent.

Moreover, when I was harassed and left my seat, someone immediately took the seat and pretended not to know what was happening. 

There are more and more immigrants in Berlin now. Many of them do not have proper jobs and just wander the streets. I think Chinese students should avoid going to "problem" areas alone and they definitely shouldn't go out at night.

我住在马德里，圣费尔明区的一幢公寓里。我遇袭的事件发生在2012年的六月。当时是晚上七点左右，我把车开回家并把车停在公寓楼附近之后，打开了大楼入口处的门，然后等着电梯下来。等电梯的时候，我听到有人在试图进入楼门。

因为他们没有钥匙，于是他们把所有楼层的门铃挨个都按了一遍，然后就有人给他们开了门。我以为他们是来拜访朋友的，也没有太在意。

突然，两个男子冲了进来，其中一个掐住了我的脖子使我无法动弹，另一个抢走了我的包，然后我就晕过去了。大概十分钟后我才恢复了清醒，那两人早已逃之夭夭了。

他们把我所有随身物品都抢走了，包括我的手表，墨镜和钱包。当时他们带着帽子和深色墨镜，我没法看清他们的长相。之后我报了警，警察在三分钟之内就赶到了，但是那两个抢劫的早没影了。

我觉得保持警醒以及不要一个人走动是很重要的。如果不得不独自一人行动，最好只走大道。同时，我们在进入住所大门的时候要当心看周围有没有可疑的人，以防万一。

I live in an apartment building in the San Fermin district in Madrid. My attack happened in June 2012. I drove home at around 7 pm and parked my car near the building. I opened the door at the entrance of the building and while I was waiting for the elevator to come down, I heard someone trying to get into the building. 

They didn't have keys so they were pressing the door bells for all the apartments, one by one. Someone opened the entrance door. I thought that they might be visiting my neighbors, so I didn't feel concerned. 

Then suddenly two men stormed in. One grabbed me around the neck throttling me while the other grabbed my belongings. I passed out. It took me about five to 10 minutes to regain consciousness and by then they had left. 

They took all my personal belongings including my watch, sunglasses and purse. They wore hats and dark glasses, so I couldn't see their faces. I called the police and they arrived within three minutes but the attackers had already fled. 

I think it is important to be cautious and never walk alone. If one has to walk alone, he or she is better walking on main streets. Also, we should look around carefully before entering apartment buildings in case there is danger.

有一天，我一个人坐地铁从市中心回家。当时已经晚上11点多了，车上都没几个人。然后我就看到我斜对角有个男的一直看着我。我觉得他有点不妙，于是决定提前下车，搭下一班车回家。结果我坐上下班车过了两站后，又看到那个男的也要搭上这班车。

我当时怕得要死，还好当时有个看起来很面善的大哥坐在我附近，于是我告诉他有个人在跟踪我，让他帮帮我。他同意了，在那个跟踪我的人面前装作是我的朋友，那个人看了看我们就走了。

那个大哥人超好的，一直陪我到我下地铁才走。我觉得我还是很幸运的，能碰到一个好人，否则我都不敢想那天晚上我会怎么样了。所以我要以我自身的经历告诉在海外留学的同胞们，大晚上的千万别一个人出去瞎溜达，在外面也要随时保持警惕，多留心身边的可疑人物。

One day, I was alone on the subway going from downtown to the place I live. It was 11 pm and there were few people on the subway. I looked around and realized that the man sitting in the corner was staring at me continuously. I was scared by him so I decided to get off earlier and wait for the next subway. I thought I had managed to get rid of the man when I got on the next subway, but I was wrong. After two stops, I found the man was waiting at that station. 

I was very frightened but fortunately there was another man who seemed to be a nice guy sitting nearby. So I told him that there was a man who was stalking me and asked for help. The man agreed and pretended to be my friend in front of the stalker. After seeing that, the stalker walked away. 

The man was so nice that he accompanied with me until I got off the subway. I was lucky enough to find a nice guy - otherwise I can't think what might have happened to me that night. 

I would like to suggest that students studying abroad never go out alone at nighttime and always stay vigilant.

去年，我一个人去旧金山旅游。当我到了我在网上预订的青年旅馆后，前台告诉我还要再过两小时才能入住。于是我把行李先寄放在旅馆，打算先去附近转悠一圈。那个旅馆就在联合广场附近，周边有很多商店。我就凭着自己的感觉漫无目的地逛着，过了两个街区后，我发现街上的人越来越少了。继续往下走，就看到路边越来越多的流浪汉在大声交谈。当我经过的时候，他们都盯着我看，因为街上就只有我一个人和他们格格不入。我开始觉得不对劲，感到害怕了。但是我看着地图，穿过这片街区，应该就能到我要去的地方，所以我咬咬牙决定继续走下去。接着，有些流浪汉就开始跟我搭话了，因为他们也只是问候几句，我也就象征性礼貌地回应一下。

然后有个人就拦下我问我要到哪里去。我告诉他我在找泰勒街，他就给我指了指方向。正当我为碰上个好心人而庆幸的时候，那人问我：“你是来这儿 ‘嗨’的吗？” 开始我没听懂他所说的 “嗨”是什么意思，然后我反应过来可能跟吸毒有关。于是我装作没听懂的样子快步走开了。

当我回到旅社时，其中一个工作人员告诉我，我刚去的那个地方是出了名的乱的，许多流浪汉聚集在哪儿喝酒，吸毒。还好我没出什么事，回想起来都感觉后怕。所以说在不熟的地方，千万别一个人瞎转悠。出门在外要时刻小心。

Last year, I traveled to San Francisco by myself. When I arrived at the youth hostel that I had booked online, I was told that I had to wait for two hours to check in. So I decided to walk around the streets nearby. The hostel was near Union Square, and there were a variety of shops nearby. I walked down the street aimlessly. After two blocks, I found there were fewer people on the streets. I kept walking and I saw more and more homeless guys sitting on the ground talking loudly. They all stared at me when I passed by, since I was the only one looking different. I started to feel strange and scared. But according to the map, I should have been able to get to my destination after crossing this block. As I kept walking, some of them started to talk to me. I replied politely since they were just greeting me. 

Then, a man stopped me and asked where I was going. I told him that I was looking for Taylor Street, and he showed me the right way. I was glad to meet such a nice guy but he asked: "Are you coming here to get high?" At first, I was confused by the meaning of "high". Then I thought it might have something to do with drugs. So I pretended not to understand and walked away quickly. 

After I got back to the hostel, one of the staff told me that the place that I went to was notoriously dangerous. Lots of homeless people hung around there for drugs and alcohols. Although nothing bad happened to me, I still felt very scared. Don't wander on streets by yourself, especially in places you are not familiar with.

我平时住在学校的宿舍。有一次，我走的时候忘记锁门了，回来就发现我钱包里的钱全被偷了。因为我们住在同一层楼的人都互相认识，所以平时经常开着门走来走去，但是好多人都被偷了东西。我不知道小偷是不是就是住在这里的学生，但是我们现在都学会要看管好自己的随身物品了。

好多在国内的人都以为外国人都很nice，也不太会去偷别人的东西，其实不是这样的。在我们学校的图书馆里，到处张贴着“小心偷窃”的告示。

我有两个朋友在图书馆里复习的时候，中途离开了一下座位，因为觉得一会儿就回来了，应该没事，就没拿走钱包，结果回来的时候，两个人钱包都被偷了。他们所有的证件和银行卡都在里面。当时正是考试期间，还要挂失补办很是麻烦。

虽然我在国外没碰到过什么威胁到我人身安全的事，但是被偷还是挺常见的。在国外的留学生要尤其当心自己的随身财物，许多小偷专挑外国留学生下手，因为觉得他们比较有钱。如果你是一个人并需要离开座位一会儿的时候，要么带着你的东西一起走，要么可以让旁边的人帮你照看一下东西。

I live in a university dormitory. I once forgot to lock the door when I left and then found all the money in my wallet had been taken. Since I know the other people who live on the same floor, we often leave doors open but several of us have been robbed. We weren't sure whether the thief was one of the students, but we learned to keep an eye on personal belongings. 

Many people in China think that people in foreign countries are always nice and they are seldom bothered by thieves, which is not the truth. Even in the library on our campus, "Watch out for theft" signs can be seen everywhere. 

Two of my friends left their library seats without taking their belongings only for a while, and found that their wallets, with their identity cards and bankcards, had been stolen. Though I haven't seen anything really dangerous around me, theft is very common.

International students really should pay close attention to their belongings. If you are alone and you need to leave your seat for a while, you had better take your belongings with you or ask the people beside you to watch your stuff.

大概三个月前，我当时从芝加哥中国城吃晚饭完大约九点的时候等地铁回家，四周就几个老外，和一个中国大妈在。

然后一个流浪汉过来，挨个问人要钱，但没人愿意给他。当他来找我要钱的时候，我说我没钱，他说了句 “f**king Chinese”，然后一拳打到我鼻子上，我倒在地上，差点就晕过去了。他趁机从我口袋里拿走我的手机和钱包。

我非常害怕他有刀，或者惹急了他把我推到铁轨下面去，然后那些白人都走远了，中国大妈跑过来对着她说: “That's not nice! You can't do that! ”然后说了一堆要告他和报警抓他的话。

那个流浪汉估计被吓到了，把我的钱包和手机丢下跑了，然后大妈确定我没事就搭地铁走了。我们中国人在外应该互相帮助，这样那些外国人也不敢再专挑中国人下手了。有些时候你必须反击回去来证明自己不是好欺负的。

About three months ago, after having dinner in Chinatown in Chicago, I walked to the nearest subway station. It was about 9 o'clock in the evening. There were only a few people and a middle-aged Chinese woman at the station. 

After a while, a homeless guy came and began begging for money from people but no one responded to him. When he came to me, I told him that I had no money. Then he cursed me - "F**king Chinese" - and punched me on my nose. I fell down and nearly passed out. The guy then grabbed my cell phone and wallet from my pocket. 

I was frightened in case he had a knife or he might have pushed me onto the rails, so I didn't resist. The other people on the platform just walked away but the Chinese lady ran up to the guy and said: "That's not nice! You can't do that!" and threatened to call the police. 

The guy threw my cell phone and wallet down and ran off. The Chinese lady didn't leave until she made sure that I was fine. We Chinese people should help each other in foreign countries so that foreigners won't dare to bully Chinese. Sometimes you need to fight back to let bad people know that you are not a pushover.

有不少外媒称，中国留学生遇到类似问题选择沉默的比例较大。
