申请流程&技巧

首先给大家讲讲申请流程和需要的一些技能哦。小姐姐反映面试问题基本上和DNC集训营训练时一摸一样。

For the application process, I submitted my resume and then got invited to an interview.

It is a 30-minute phone interview with the senior, including:

A 2-minute self-introduction + behavioral questions + case interview. Behavioral questions were mainly based on my resume. The senior asked me about my hard skills, e.g. data analytical skills (both Excel and python), PowerPoint skills, etc.

He also asked the reason I changed my preference from finance to consulting given my education background and working experience. I clearly remembered that Miwah asked the exact same question to me in the mock interview at the MC Bootcamp.

Case Interview

两年前在DNC上课学的东西，贝恩导师Andrew 和麦肯锡老师Miwah教授的东西现在还是依然非常受用。

For the case interview, it consisted of a mini case which is a market-sizing problem and an industry insight problem related to an emerging market.

I took the MC Bootcamp nearly 2 years ago but what I learned from Andrew, Miwah and other professionals are still really helpful that gives me clear structures and methods to solve different problems.

每天的工作内容包括哪些呢？

实习工作内容其实还是很丰富的，包括很多方面。

Basically, I conduct desktop research, competitive analysis, identity consumers’ key buying factors, analyse the current situation of a market and industry, analyse business performance, financial performance, market positioning strategy and development strategy for clients.

因为乐爱，所以坚持

在贝恩实习，让我更坚信了咨询行业这条职业道路。

Working at Bain also gives me great exposure to various industries and top players in each industry. I could go from helping a carmaker launch its new energy vehicle in this project to helping an e-commercial platform grow revenues in the next project. It requires a high rate of learning but I really enjoy the variety and intensity. I appreciate the insights and quick growth such experience provides me.
