最近关于pte题库更新的话题不断啊！

曼拓悉尼PTE的Angela老师，为了帮助大家更好的了解和掌握PTE目前的考试情况！亲自报名了2月26号的考试！一探究竟！

现在，我们就让Angela老师亲自说一说，这次PTE到底考了什么吧！

考试时间：2月26日下午1点

考试地点：Navitas level 8

大家好！我是Angela！

来到考场，一进门时要注意电梯通往的楼层，八层沿着指示牌会找到PTE考试的教室，根据最新的考试规则所有长袖的外套都不能带进考场。

考试系统和设备都比较新，屏幕很大方便同学阅读，一个考场一共可以做10位考试的同学，考试会配备降噪耳塞，说话声音如果过大test administrator会进场提示考试降低音量，耳机与曼拓机房配备耳机一样，建议同学们练习时佩戴耳机以提前适应考试的状态。

系统有了一些新的更改，比如一开始考试马上就是调试麦克风和音量的界面，在口语考试前不再留有太多额外的时间，整体考试时长大约在2小时40分钟作左右。

总的来说2，3月交替时期出现了一些很早以前的旧题，并加入了一些新题，旧题比重占到60%，新题在40%左右。

下面是本次考试的回忆：

Speaking整体难度在retell lecture部分略有上升，听力材料多了一些视频，听力整体更清淅与规范了，在整体涉及到听力的材料中，speakers多为official guide的stimulation test中的真人发音录音。

RA:

RA部分出现了两道机经：

1. Not of his age alone but of all time. How is an achievement of this magnitude to be explained? How did Shakespeare become Shakespeare?

2. The beginning of the twenty-first century will be remembered, not for military conflicts or political events, but for a whole new age of globalization – a ‘flattening’ of the world. The explosion of advanced technologies now means that suddenly knowledge pools and resources have connected all over the planet, leveling the playing field as never before.

剩下的题目均以climate和education内容为主，没有生僻的单词，但由于多数句子的标点符号较少，需注意自行停顿和完整意群的合理断句。

Repeat sentence:

RS的语速较快，句子较长，但是内容也是比较学术类的，没有太多怪异的内容，但同学们需要提高自己的注意力，由于考场上噪音较多，很容易受到影响，该部分在句子播放结束后几乎同步就会开始录音也并无beep sound提醒，要注意观察屏幕recording indicator的提示，也有一小部分机经命中啊，但是合理的记忆方式还是很重要的，repeat sentence为内容加了很多分数这点毋庸置疑，如果目标分数79的同学记得上魔鬼训练营来恶补一下repeat sentence！

3. The glass is not the real solid, because it doesn't have crystal structure.

Navitas8层考场或许真的像同学们传说的那样题目都是比较规规矩矩的，在考试间隙从其他同学洪亮的声音（背景噪音）中也可以听出RA和repeat sentence的部分内容多以academic，climate和economic为主。

还有一道是关于supply chain management的是19年1月刚出的新题，但是真题的文字更少步骤也只有5步而已，如果同学们碰到了这样的题目结合我在课堂上给大家的flow chart专门模板，轻松说到40秒无压力：

Retell lecture:

Retell lecture的部分4道题以19年新题为主，一道视频题，另外三道均有图片。

1. 视频题目的大意是说1. different culture we can learn from international students and will also benefit to home students.关键词different cultures在视频中有强调许多遍. 2. It is important to have international student in the school because we can learn the different knowledge from them. 3. It is also benefit to our home students that their horizons can be widened 4. My teaching methods would be also motivated and inspired from different cultures.

2. Prince Morton: The powerful influence of Stevenson's text on the discourse of dissociation is strikingly apparent in the work of American physician and psychologist Morton Prince. Rieber credits Prince with pioneering the phenomenon of popularizing MPD as embodied in a spectacular case. Princes dissociation of a Personality (1905) tells the story of Miss Christine Beau-champ, a pseudonym for Clara Norton Fowler, who, according to Prince, is a person in whom several personalities have become developed

以下是机经中没有的本次考试回忆：这道题目中反复出现了人名 Christine，另外作者强调了Christine作为Morton这位psychologist的研究对象:he had been diagnosed as multiple personality issues, and the symptom he had belongs to B2, there are three types personality called:B1, B2 and B3. B3 knows B2, B2 knows B1, while B1 knows nothing. The most powerful personality account for the most of time and it will takeover the others and become the main personality at the end.

3. US economy

Although America is in the process of de-industralization, however when it was in the period of industralization, In terms of the size of economy, US economy is more than the total accumulated amount of China, Japan, UK and German. While in terms of industrial output, US economy is only equals to the sum of China and Japan, which is about $2.8 trillion dollars. Though it seems that the powerful era has gone, America still remains the most powerful economic entity in the world.

When the Rosetta Stone was discovered in 1799, the carved characters that covered its surface were quickly copied. Printers ink was applied to the Stone and white paper was laid over it. When the paper was removed, it revealed an exact copy of the textbut in reverse. Since then, many copies or facsimiles have been made using a variety of materials. Inevitably, the surface of the Stone accumulated many layers of material left over from these activities, despite attempts to remove any residue. Once on display, the grease from many thousands of human hands eager to touch the Stone added to the problem.

An opportunity for investigation and cleaning the Rosetta Stone arose when this famous object was made the centerpiece of the Cracking Codes exhibition at The British Museum in 1999. When work commenced to remove all but the original, ancient material, the stone was black with white lettering. As treatment progressed, the different substances uncovered were analyzed. Grease from human handling, a coating of carnauba wax from the early 1800s and printers ink from 1799 were cleaned away using cotton wool swabs and liniment of soap, white spirit, acetone and purified water. Finally, white paint in the text, applied in 1981, which had been left in place until now as a protective coating, was removed with cotton swabs and purified water. A small square at the bottom left corner of the face of the Stone was left untouched to show the darkened wax and the white infill.

In such an environment, warfare is no longer purely directed against the military potential of adversarial states. It is rather directed at infiltrating all areas of their societies and to threaten their existences. The comparatively easy access to weapons of mass destruction, in particular relatively low-cost biological agents, is of key concern. Both governmental and nongovernmental actors prefer to use force in a way that can be characterized as unconventionalor also as small wars. War waged according to conventions is an interstate phenomenon. The small war is the archetype of war, in which the protagonists acknowledge no rules and permanently try to violate what conventions do exist. The protagonists of the small war observe neither international standards nor arms control agreements. They make use of territories where they do not have to fear any sanctions because there is no functioning state to assume charge of such sanctions or because the state in question is too weak to impose such sanctions. This type of war does not provide for any warning time. It challenges not only the external security of the nation states and international community, but also their internal safety

Language(老题）

The topic is about abstraction, which contains several layers and related to computer. When it comes to the origins of symbolic, it means language. Language has different types of theories and plays an important role in communication. Sign language is the center of the matter which is worth to observe in whole language system.

Vitamin D（远古题。。。）

Vitamin D is the major source of sunlight. The speaker demonstrated that no dietary need to obtain extra Vitamin D if people can get adequate sunlight. Vitamin D is also a type of pro-hormone. Nowadays, people take Vitamin D simply due to their functions of equatorial needs. People are lack of Vitamin D due to they wear more clothes in winter as a result of inadequate sunlight.

WFD：

1. There is some doubt about whether these events actually occurred.

2. If finance is the circumstance of concern, the scholarship is maybe available.

3. Archaeologists' new discovery stands out in previously overlooked foundations.
