KPMG’s Graduate Pathway is a 12-month development program that not only supports the build of key capabilities and role specific learning, but is one that promotes:

The 12 month graduate pathway is underpinned by divisional specific learning and is structured to enable flexibility in scope as you are ultimately responsible for your own learning journey with support provided to assist you in deciding what you want to learn.

If you are seeking a career within the Commercial Law or Tax Controversy team, please note that we follow recruitment guidelines provided by The Law Society of New South Wales and the Law Institute of Victoria.

To be eligible to apply, candidates will need to demonstrate that they have full time working rights within Australia at the time of their application. We will accept applications from candidates who hold one of the following visa types:

• Temporary Graduate Subclass 485 Visa and provide evidence of an invitation to apply for the Skilled Independent Subclass 189/ 190 visa

• Skilled Independent Subclass 189 or 190 Visa

• Subclass 820/801 partner visa

• Secondary employer sponsored visas e.g. Subclass 457, 482 or 186 Visas (where the primary visa holder is a family member).

Candidates will also need to demonstrate their:

• ability to obtain permanent residency

• legal right to work in Australia up until such time that permanent residency is granted

• completion of an approved English language test and proof that they have reached ‘Superior English’ by meeting required benchmarks as set by the Department of Home Affairs

• in line with immigration requirements, if you hold a passport from the UK, USA, Canada or the Republic of Ireland you are not required to provide evidence of English language proficiency.

KPMG will not sponsor students for the purposes of residency. Successful candidates who are not permanent residents when made an offer of employment will be required, as a condition of their employment, to independently apply for and obtain permanent residency.

Information obtained in the process of assessing your eligibility to apply for graduate employment with KPMG will not be used in any way other than determining your suitability to apply for and obtain permanent residency.

Only applications from international students that meet the above criteria, and therefore qualify for permanent residence after graduation, will be accepted.
