今天对维州人来说，可能是最不友善的一天。
虽然已经封城了4天，眼见封城周期已经过了一半，而昨晚的新增也让人觉得至少还行。
但是今天中午的一场发布会打破了平静...
维州代州长 James Merlino很遗憾的表示，
除了今早通报的5例本地新增外，维州今天早上又报告了6例新本地病例。卫生部正在就最新的这11例确诊进行紧急调查，更多相关信息将尽快公布。

而今天这个数字也翻了昨天一倍！
创下这轮爆发以来单日最高增幅。
维州代理州长Merlino警告公众说，维州本轮疫情迎来拐点之前，情况“可能会先变得更糟”。
根据预测来看，今天剧烈上升的病例大概率来自于两个重要的点：
1/ 昨天报道的送货小哥的确诊造成的更多感染，因为无症状在社区工作12天，也可能造成了疫情扩散。目前记录仅仅是小哥的4个家人被感染。
2/ 养老院昨天出现的神秘病例，已经造成了今天的部分养老院员工确诊（信息在下方）但是不排除更多的相关密接确诊。

而封城也大概率会继续下去。
针对于这11例，目前已知的是，
感染的其中一个是与墨尔本西北部梅德斯通的Arcare养老院有关的一例病例的儿子，而另一例是护理院中的工作人员。
位于墨尔本的养老院BlueCross Western Gardens Sunshine aged care hom已证实有一名女性员工在刚刚过去的这个周末确诊，截至目前，墨尔本已有两家养老院都出现了员工确诊的情况。
据悉，这名确诊员工此前还在另一家爆出确诊的Maidstone Arcare养老院刚做完一轮班，并于上周五进行了检测，当时检测结果仍未阴性；到了周六，她再次进行了检测，最新的结果却显示她已经感染。
不过，目前尚不清楚BluesCross Western Gardens Sunshine养老院的这例确诊是否与此前Madistone Arcare养老院报告的为同一例。
此外，据政府服务部影子部长Bill Shorten透露，墨尔本Maidstone区的老年护理机构Arcare aged care内已出现2例确诊，包括昨天已通报的那例员工确诊病例，以及一名养老院居民。目前该机构已经被列入维州的疫情风险点名单。
医务负责人紧张的等待着疗养院的更多检测结果，所有这四个养老院都处于隔离状态，老人们只能坐在自己的房间里。
自疫情开始以来，澳大利亚因疫情死亡910例，其中四分之三与老年护理有关。
这位50岁的Arcare员工在工厂工作时感染了两天，然后在周六测试呈阳性。
接触追踪者一直在努力弄清楚她是如何感染该病毒的，因为她没有与维州其他感染的已知链接，而这些感染都是相互关联的。
她与之后测试为阳性的Western Gardens工人以及两名仍在处理中的Royal Freemasons工人有着密切接触。
南澳大学流行病学教授艾德里安·埃斯特曼（Adrian Esterman）表示，接下来的48小时对于确定弱势居民是否处于危险之中以及该州的7天禁闭期是否延长至关重要。
此外，据News报道称，今天早上，墨尔本北部远郊的一所小学也因出现确诊而紧急关闭。
位于Craigieburn区的Willmott Park Primary School小学已经通知了家长和学生们，该校正在关闭并进行深度清洁中。
另外，Viewbank区和Ivanhoe区的两家幼儿园也已经在今天上午关闭，因与确诊者有关联。

据《每日邮报》5月30日报道，墨尔本一家养老院的一名工作人员确定为1例“非常令人担忧的”确诊病例，该养老院已被关闭。
据悉，周三和周四，这名员工在有潜在传染性但无症状的情况下在Arcare Maidstone养老院工作，接触者追踪者尚未确定这名确诊女子与其他已知病例之间的关联。
维州检测指挥官Jeroen Weimar表示，这名女子于周五出现症状后进行了新冠检测。
他说：“这起养老院确诊病例是我们非常担忧的问题，这是我们最脆弱、最敏感的环境……这就是为什么我们从昨晚深夜开始做出了如此重要的应对。”

Arcare集团的首席执行官Colin Singh给家属发了一封信，通知他们探望时间已经修改。
他说：“我们目前正在进行接触者追踪，同时与联邦和州机构以及外展服务机构密切合作，来支持我们的客户和团队成员。”
“目前，我们的其他住宅区没有出现其他确诊病例，自三级封锁生效以来，我们已经积极限制团队成员在各住所之间的流动和探视。”
据悉，这名确诊的工作人员已经接种了第一剂新冠疫苗，工作时穿戴了适当的防护装备。
Weimar表示，卫生部门正与该养老院密切合作，以遏制病毒的传播。
他说，居民都被限制在自己的房间内，“他们已被立即隔离，员工现在已经升级到三级个人防护装备。”
