最近很多同学，听力和写作没过，究其原因，两方面做的不好 Write from dictation还有Summarize spoken text做的不好！今天7PLUS教同学们如何搞定Summarize的题型.
1原文
As we have already seen, the American economy is increasingly global and effects of a downturn in one area of the world can immediately affect the value of American stocks at home. Throughout the first half of the year, it was widely speculated the Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan would chose to raise interest rates in the US to Cool down the economy a bit and prevent inflation from creeping in. By late September, though, he was coming under increasing pressure to lower interest rates to fend off deflationary pressures. What happened?
As economic trouble spots flare up around the globe, the earning estimates of American firms who do business abroad begin to flatten. Without these international consumers to buy their products, there are fewer sales, which means that inventories pile up. When there is more supply than demand, prices go down. Lower prices would normally cause demand to pick up, but in an uncertain economy people tend to postpone purchases. We see this tendency in the American economy with computer products where consumers believe that the prices will go down if they wait another six months, so they decide to hold off. This tendency causes further gluts in the market, which eventually leads manufacturers to slow production. They lay off workers, causing domestic consumption to fall further since there is less money to buy goods. These effects ripple throughout the economy and create a deflationary spiral that can lead to a recession or even a depression.
合理分配时间，2-3分钟边读边note-taking，5-6 分钟组织逻辑关系和添加成一句复杂句（用连接词，从句和分号），留 1-2 分钟检查拼写句法和form (5-75 字的一句话）
首先必须掌握怎么做笔记的方法：（打横线的是笔记)
第一段1句： American economy变得越来越global, 并且会影响 American stock, 所以笔记就是两个关键词：AE and AS，并且可以补充变得global和互相affect,这样之后方便换词
2-3句： 来自于FRC的chairman Alan做了个事，明显是一个example,可以不用记。最多记一下中间的关键名词 interest rate 和 inflation deflation, 最后字数不够的时候可以加这个点
第二段 1句：关键词注意是earning estimates, 而不是 American firms， 然后EE begins to flatten
2 句：no international consumers, inventories pile up.类似重点名词就不用换词了
3-4 句：in uncertain economy, postpone purchases
5 句: 一看到computer product就是example, 直接跳过
6- 9 句： 一看到causes 就明确后面的一点就是前面情况所产生的后果，所以consequence: slow production, recession and depression
所以整篇段落一字一句读，保证不漏掉任何关键信息，边读边理解，然后做笔记，这样最后看着笔记两两配对一句一句写，也不用浪费太多时间返回去读原文.
综上所述，做出来的笔记大概可以是：
AE global, can affect AS, (interest rate and inflation), earning estimates of firms begin to flatten, no international consumers ，inventories pile up, in uncertain economy， postpone purchases, consequences: slow production, recession and depression
如果笔记都可以很清楚做到20-30个字（关键字），到时候是很容易串成50-60个字的一篇summary。
第二个难点是怎么样串成一句话，中间需要加复杂句从句和改写句子或单词的能力。（一定不能照抄，分肯定低）现在就来两两配对，写一个长的复杂句。
第一对：
原文是 AE can affect AS, 改写可以把主动变被动，AS is affected by AE, 动词前面还可以加副词！（其实不难，但很多同学没有养成用副词的习惯）例如is constantly influenced by. 同样的，后面earning estimates不用换，但是American firms 可以换成American enterprises, begin to可以换成start to，两句中间用and连接均可。
第二对：
第一对和后面的关系可以理解成earning flatten的原因是 no international consumers and inventories pile up, 表因果的关系除了because of, 还可以用which is attributed to. no international consumers 可以用decreased demand of international consumers, pile up可以用，但是如果原文是简单词go up或者increase, 那这里就需要换词。
第三对：
前面句子在用了which, and 或者hence连接以后， 最好不要从句套从句了，用分号连接句子，然后后面接小写，例如xxxx;therefore, in an uncertain/unstable economy, customers tend to postpone their purchases, xxxx
第四对：
因为最后是结果，所以表示结果的表达有as a result, consequentially等。负面的consequence 可以故意添加negative, adverse, detrimental等去修饰，炫耀你的词汇量，然后可以插入后置表达such as把最后三个slow production, recession and depression连一起。 看到slow那么low的词，也给他换掉，snail可以做修饰，写作at snail's pace替换slow.
