Describe Image题型中分数据图和非数据图,今天我们来看数据图。

数据图分两种:有时间因素和没有时间因素
(一)有时间因素的数据图,第一句话 [TITLE]:
This graph shows the [Title] in [地点] from [时间1] to [时间2].
This is a [bar graph / line chart / pie chart / table], which gives information about [Title] in [地点] from [时间1] to [时间2] / in [时间].
第二句话 & 第三句话先描述图中的信息,讲趋势
According to the graph, we can see that there was an increase/a decrease in [数据形式] from [多少1] in [什么时候1] to [多少2] in [什么时候2].
Which is followed by 数据变化
Tip1数字只讲整数不要讲小数点 (e.g. around, about),也只讲看得到的数字 (e.g. more than 100)
Tip2 重点是学会归纳信息:e.g. 75%, 83%, 91% → more than three-quarters; Japan, China, Korea → Asian countries
第四句话是Conclusion
In conclusion, the overall trend tended to: increase / decrease / remain stable / fluctuate / be different / be similar.
第五句话,有的话,就说 Implication. 没有的话,不说也没关系。
So we can safely conclude that… / So we can say that… / So it implies that
有关降雨量 (precipitation): there might be a drought / flood.
有关食物产量 (food production): there might be a shortage of food, even starvation / an abundance of food.
有关经济/钱: the economy is getting better / worse; XX is getting richer / poorer
有关人口和年龄: there might be an ageing population.
(二)没有时间因素的数据图:
第一句话 [TITLE]:
This graph shows the [Title] in [地点] from [时间1] to [时间2].
This is a [bar graph / line chart / pie chart / table], which gives information about [Title] in [地点] from [时间1] to [时间2] / in [时间].
第二句话 & 第三句话先描述图中的信息,内容非常开放式,很难有一个make sense的句式
单个饼状图或柱状图
According to the graph, we can see that A is the largest component, which takes up m, which is closely followed by B at n. By contrast, C takes up around p and D, q, while E, F & G are the smallest, each taking up less than r.
多个
According to the graph, we can see that for X, A is the largest component, which takes up m. By contrast, B is the smallest, taking up n.
For Y, A is the largest component, which takes up m. By contrast, B is the smallest, taking up n.
第四句话是Conclusion
In conclusion, there are similarities and differences.
第五句话,有的话,就说 Implication. 没有的话,不说也没关系。
So we can safely conclude that… / So we can say that… / So it implies that
