What is this role all about?
The People Data & Analytics team supports the People division and broader organisation with people data, reporting and analysis to enable fact based decision making on our most valuable asset, our people.
This is an exciting and challenging role in the emerging field of people analytics, and provides an excellent opportunity to develop your core data and analysis skills in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
What will I be doing?
In this role, you'll contribute to the sourcing, preparation and analysis of people data, and to the reporting of people attributes, metrics and trends to stakeholders in the People division and the broader organisation. Ultimately this aims to ensure facts and evidence are being used to supplement experience and intuition to drive more informed people decisions.
You’ll have the opportunity to support a variety of deliverables and initiatives, including:
sourcing and transforming people data and creating integrated employee datasets
delivering periodic people reporting and management information
creating and maintaining people metric scorecards and dashboards
responding to ad hoc people questions and queries
providing data and analysis support for key people initiatives and activities
creating and maintaining self-driven visual exploratory and analysis tools
advising and enabling the ability to self-serve data sourcing and analysis
assessing and reporting on the quality of people data, and supporting other enterprise wide data governance initiatives
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification
Comfort working with numbers and solving problems in a corporate environment
High integrity, respecting highest standards of data privacy and data protection when dealing with sensitive, confidential, and personal information
We'll be looking for you to demonstrate an appetite to learn and solve problems in front of you. Working with ambiguity, collaborating with the rest of team and making sense of complex 'asks' of you will set you up for success in this role.
