Join our team of Customer Care Specialists and play a key role in our phone-based business by connecting with our customers as a subject matter expert.
As a Customer Care Banker, you will work in our office-based contact centre and be responsible for creating opportunities to engage with customers by asking questions, recommending suitable products and taking responsibility to follow through on what you commit to do.
This is an exciting opportunity to start a growing career with Westpac. You will be continuously learning and developing within the role and be provided with ongoing feedback and support. Once you have mastered a speciality, you will have the opportunity to rotate through different teams to further develop your expertise across different products, customers and platforms.
Take ownership of all customer requests and issues and follow through to ensure customer satisfaction
Provide banking solutions to our existing bank clients and new direct clients
Be measured and rewarded for best practice, meeting targets, receiving positive customer ratings and strong referral activity
Manage relationships with referral partners and stakeholders across the business
Comply to and remain up to date with industry compliance, policy and legislative standards
Proven experience in providing high quality customer service with a true desire to help our customers meet their financial goals
Previous Financial Services experience (preferred, but not essential)
Ability to develop customer relationships and build long term relationships with referral and business partners
Relevant tertiary qualification - highly desirable
Sales and/or service experience
Ability to multi-task and navigate through our computer systems
Ability to access some of the best banking, wealth and insurance benefits in the market
