Opportunity vs. Chance

chance:可能性; 胜算; 机会 (作此义时同opportunity)

opportunity:用来达到目的、希望等的时机; 机会

例句:

Dish vs. Plate

dish:待洗的餐具,用复数形式; 菜肴

plate:盘子

例句:

I broke a plate while I was doingthe dishes.

Broad vs. Wide

broad:事物幅度宽广的、宽阔的; 选择广的、多的; 粗略的

wide:宽的,用法为:一段长度+wide ;( 一边至另一边的距离) 宽的; 眼睛、嘴巴等张大的

例句:

Close vs. Turn off

close:关闭 (开口或通道) ,反义词是open
