Social Media Lead

In terms of the role the Women's Rights Defender network is looking to fulfill is a Social Media Lead. This is a volunteer position with Amnesty International.

Requirements of position:

- A deep of knowledge of the various social media platforms and what are their best features.

- How WRD can best exploit these values of each of the platforms to to reach a greater audience and to gain their support for our various campaigns.

- Knowledgeable in the four preferred platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.

- Extract metrics on traffic and activities for analytics for each of the platform. Develop action plan on how to improve metrics.

- Train and coach WRD members on the management and maintenance activities required to ensure the various sites remain fresh and current.

- The minimum time required for this position is 6 months. I welcome the successful candidate to stay on longer if she/he wishes to.
