We are looking for YOU! A self-driven individual with the ability to plan and prioritise work/resources within an environment of changing and competing for demands. You will be a critical resource in delivering nationally significant projects and the main support to our Airport Land Use Planner and Building Approvals Lead to establish and implement the Master Plan and other relevant statutory planning and building approvals.

Here's a snapshot of your responsibilities:

• Ensure the effective processing, compliance and timely delivery for all permits and assessments for penetrations

• Responsible for managing and processing multiple development applications of different types within a complex and fast-moving environment

• Share your understanding of relevant Commonwealth and State legislation and local planning schemes

• General planning, approval and permit processing and assessment support to the Manager Statutory Planning

• Ensure compliance and checking of permits and approvals issued

• Assess and approve off estate permits for penetrations

Let's talk about you:

A unicorn wrapped in a rainbow would be great, but we'll settle for someone exceptional!

You have experience in compliance regulation from either the Building, Environmental or Health industries, who is self-motivated with strong attention to detail. You have an exceptional report and technical writing skills, can manage multiple projects and demands and tasks and communication in all forms comes naturally to you. You are an extremely organised individual with strong interpersonal skills both written and oral. Lastly, some may argue most importantly, you are self-driven with an ability to plan and prioritise work/resources within an ever-changing environment.

• Aviation experience would be advantageous but we understand this is like finding a needle in a haystack! Experience in local government, building surveying, environmental health inspection, or any regulatory compliance is essential.
