This is an ASIC regulated company which operates in the field of forex and financial derivateive products. They’re looking for an experienced and responsible operation manager to overlook their middle to back office daily operation activities.

Key responsibilities
Compliance – Quality control and proofreading of customer facing sales and marketing activities in English and Chinese.
Risk – support global requirements for risk and AML
Finance – Support all Global finance needs regarding MIMO and Operational costs.
MIMO – Support and maintain daily customer payments, Daily CO, Matching and reconciliation.
Support on settlement and daily deposit issue
Supervising, prioritising and organising the back-office team’s daily work
Oversee the daily execution of tasks relating to client deposits, account maintenance and closures
Creating and updating the procedures for the department
Proactively measure and improve operational processes
Managing a good communication with other internal departments
Providing regular progress and management reporting, including KPI and SLA reports
Expected to take initiative, delegate effectively, and communicate clearly, to job drive the department goals.
Liaising with external associates for problem solving
Liaising with external associates for day to day operations
Monitoring Companies systems and controls
Review and amend risk management settings
Setup and maintenance of new and existing instruments
Ensuring the smooth operation of the back-end systems
Documenting settings and functions of back-end systems
Requirements:
2-5 years’ previous experience in back office administration or accounting
Previous experience of supervising or managing a team
Treasury experience would be advantageous
Native Chinese speaking reading writing.
Very high level of written English (ability to proofread marketing material), good level of English speaking.
A bachelor of business Management, Accounting or finance.
Reliable, well-organized, multi-tasking, ability to work under tight deadlines.
Familiar with all basic accounting functions.
High Excel skills
