A versatile Administration Assistant role

Location: Melbourne

An accommodation services business is seeking a professional and well-presented administrative assistant for a multi-faceted role. Essentially, the candidate would assist the management in various aspects of running the business.

The integral components of the work would entail:

1. Managing bookings and communicating with customers

2. Liaising with suppliers, business partners and advertising agents

3. Data entry and bookkeeping

4. Managing the business’ website and social media profile

5. Assisting in business development

It is an incredibly entrepreneurial and versatile opportunity that would present the right person with a great exposure to the various aspects of operating a business and hone their resource management skills.

The ideal candidate would be articulate and mature. The position would suit someone with ambition and drive along with a strong work ethic. An appreciable level of intellect and resourcefulness is indispensable to the role. The ability to work to stringent deadlines, multi-task and perform under pressure is also integral to the role.

The position is ideal for candidates looking for a promising entry-level position to further their career. A multi-cultural and rational temperament is imperative to functioning successfully in the role. The business has the intention of hiring people that could take on substantial responsibilities going forward and there may be the possibility of a permanent managerial role down the line (with potential sponsorship provision).
