The Straight Smile Centre (www.StraightSmileCenter.com.au) is a leading orthodontic practice in South Australia, with offices in 6 locations on the eastern and western side of the city. This position will be mainly in the Norwood office, but there may be some travel to other locations.

This is a senior position with responsibility for managing the new patient journey from the initial incoming referral to treatment commencement.

The Treatment Coordinator prequalifies a new patient lead through phone, SMS and email conversations, welcomes patients into the clinic, prepares patients for their time with our Orthodontists and takes responsibility for progressing the patient into treatment, following the treatment plan assessment by our Orthodontists. Subsequent to the initial orthodontist assessment appointment, the treatment coordinator is responsible for all written communications to patients, parents and other dental professionals.

If you are an optimist by nature, open, honest with direct style, driven and ready to take charge, we would like to hear from you. You should be able to demonstrate your strong communication and problem-solving skills, be goal orientated, self-managing, have strong sales and customer service skills (or the ability to develop such skills) and able to multi-task in a busy environment. 

While orthodontic (dental or medical) knowledge will be advantageous, we place a higher emphasis on interpersonal skills and attitude. Our ethos is very much about hiring for attitude and training for skills, with a foundation of immediate likability and professional presentation a prerequisite.

Base salary is consistent with previous work experience and industry standards.
