there are a couple of ways

that will help you save money at the check out

the two main grocery stores that we have here are

Coles and Woolworths
and their prices are very similar

now when you're shopping

you're looking for the word

Special
special means that it's a discounted price

usually these items will have a yellow sticker

that says special or quick sale

followed by the price

sometimes you'll be able to find food

for up to 50% off

it is always important however to check the expiry date

because sometimes these things are going to be expiring soon

but things like meat can always be frozen

and milk is cheaper than water in Australia

and water is about three dollars fifty

I guess that's one reason why Australian teenagers are so tall

and finally once you have all of your food in your trolley

We have a pretty laid-back relaxed culture here in Australia

they just don't see the point in putting on shoes

just to go get some milk
