今天，工党再次借助澳媒发表声明，表示Peter Dutton应该尽快承认自己的失败，所谓“最难入籍法案”已经失败！包括工党，绿党，和NXT都坚决反对新入籍法案，并称不会改变任何的反对意见！

NXT的党魁Nick Xenophon表示：

“We are willing to sit down with the government and work with them, but this legislation has caused a lot of anxiety among ethnic communities around the country, and while I am sure that wasn't what was intended, it is not something we can support.”

NXT参议员Stirling Griff也表示：

“We're a nation built on migration and the envy of the world when it comes to a harmonious multicultural society. The system isn't broken, there's no need for it to be repaired.”
