A role with Epicon will provide the opportunity to gain valuable and extensive exposure and mentoring to multiple application disciplines such as Configuration Management, Infrastructure Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring, Automation, IT Service Management systems and more.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting proprietary software applications.

• Troubleshooting high level issues for clients.

• Assisting with system documentation.

• Providing high level of customer service.

• Managing incidents within SLAs.

• Executing system changes

The ideal candidate will:

• Have an understanding of service management processes.

• Have excellent problem-solving skills.

• Be able to learn new tools and processes quickly.

• Be comfortable with a 'self-learning' approach.

• Be a self-starter who is able to look for answers themselves and then establish a path to a solution to present to a senior technician rather than waiting to be told.

• Have strong communication and customer service skills.

• Have a hard-working work ethic. 

• Familiarity with IT security best practices and privacy of customer data.

• Familiarity with ITIL

Desirable:

• Certification in information technology disciplines

• Certificate in ITIL V3 Foundation

As our operations are 24/7 this role will involve being on-call. 

The recruitment process will involve technical testing so you need to have a laptop.
