We need an incredibly talented and ambitious Strategy Analyst to join a high performing team. The Strategy Analyst will produce high quality analysis and research on complex issues. This will form the basis of advice that is communicated and presented clearly to stakeholders within Melbourne Airport.

You will be responsible to:

• Develop advice to shape the future direction of the enterprise strategy, by undertaking research and analysis that considers changes in the external environment, the impact of these changes, and how these insights can influence business planning.

• Produce analytical advice for a wide variety of businesses within APAC, including aviation, car parking, property and retail to support the achievement of commercial outcomes.

• Provide advice that is robust, insightful and impactful by ensuring that it is well evidenced with thorough analysis and research.

• Communicate analysis and advice clearly and simply by producing briefing materials and presentations that convey complex concepts in a clear and simple way.

• Improve business outcomes by developing and analysing performance metrics relevant to business units to measure business efficiency. Provide advice to support value improvement, revenue enhancement, cost optimisation, and process re-design.

• Work collaboratively to produce evidence based recommendations to inform future business improvement and efficiency initiatives, including shaping business plans, and specific project initiatives.

• Assist the Manager, Commercial & Investment Modelling when required, by operating financial models and supporting the development of accurate business cases.

• Conduct all stakeholder dealings in a professional manner and respond to queries in a timely way to meet reasonable / agreed timelines.

• Continually look for opportunities to improve business proce ses, supporting analyses and systems in order to improve the quality, consistency and efficiency and effectiveness of day to day business decisions.

More about you:

• A 'get things done' attitude. You love a challenge and have no issues keeping up. You cope just fine in a fast-paced environment.

• An analytical background, you will have a tertiary qualification in Commerce / Economics / Finance or similar.

• You will hit the ground running. Experience in a consulting environment or in-house strategy team will be highly regarded.

• You embrace complexity, and will have a high level of ability with data analysis and interrogation. Expertise in financial modelling will be advantageous.

• You have the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and simple way. Your attention to detail is second to none and you pride yourself with multitasking.
