To deliver key strategic priorities, our Digital Transformation and IT Centre for Excellence has an exciting new opening for a Junior Business Analyst to join their dynamic agile team on an initial 12 month contract.

Reporting to the Business Solutions Manager and based at our brand new head office in Wacol, you will be working with a dedicated and digital IT team in an open plan layout, perfect for sharing ideas and collaborative working. Your new team is proud of their progressive work supporting key strategic priorities to provide effective and easy to use digitalized processes and modern tools for the VGA business.

About the role:
The Junior Business Analyst has a focus on tactical activities rather than operations. This gives the successful applicant an opportunity to work on several activities including stakeholder requirements needs, end user studies, process definitions, pre-studies, modelling and design ideation to find the optimal solution, consistent and efficient usage of solution and requirement management of Process & IT solutions.

About you:

• A solid understanding and experience using project management methodologies, ideally Agile

• Possess technical skills including data modelling, system evaluations and process modelling

• Business acumen to identify with company goals and stakeholder needs

• Confidence to question, analyse and provide solutions for implementation

• Personable with exceptional communication skills to quickly establish solid customer relationships

• Flexible team player to adapt to change in a global fast moving business

• Tertiary qualified (IT, Business, Commerce or Data Science) would be desirable however not essential.
