We are offering a position to a dedicated, full-time Sales Executive to join our growing team at our busy head office at the intersection of Anzac Highway and South Road, in Everard Park, South Australia. 

 

Our company has a fantastic culture and a friendly team environment. You will receive a minimum retainer of $37,180 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation, plus generous commissions. As a successful operator your earning in your first year should be $50,000+, and you should be on track to achieve $100,000+ in your second year. Earning potential is unlimited. 

 

During the first 12 months of your employment, your role will be Professional Assistant to one of the Senior Sales Executives. You will be going through comprehensive and effective on the job training while acting as a Professional Assistant, consisting 6 months of prospecting and client database development, and 6 months of sales process. By the end of your first 12 months, you should have developed exceptional professional skills and knowledge, as well as strong confidence and business etiquette. 

 

The role encompasses a wide range of tasks, the successful candidate must have exceptional sales, communication and interpersonal abilities, as well as honesty and courage.

 

As a Sales Executive, you are responsible for the below duties: 

    •    Achieve individual monthly / quarterly sales targets as set by management;

    •    Maintain familiarity with all office listings but importantly manage listings assigned by management and your own listings, including regularly liaising with vendors, prospective buyers, solicitors, councils and any other essential party;

    •    Complete all necessary documentation associated with listing and selling property, including preparation and execution of sales agency agreements and advertising material;

    •    Provide regular written and oral feedback to vendors on market indicators and buyer interest;

    •    Conduct market appraisals for prospective vendors;

    •    Demonstrate an ability to convert listing presentations into exclusive office listing, with a professional fee at or above the minimum amount set by the company.

    •    Demonstrate a commitment to satisfying Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements and therefore maintain current registration or licence;

    •    Assist the organisation gain a better market share by identifying, recommending and implementing improved selling and marketing strategies;

    •    Continually look to identify further business opportunities through effective liaising with other related businesses and colleagues;

    •    Ensure potential customers are provided with reliable and accurate advice regarding property movements and industry trends;

    •    To plan, design and conduct appropriate marketing and selling strategies for individual properties within budgetary limits;

    •    Be responsible for accuracy and media insertions in relation to the marketing of a property;

    •    Assist when required in preparing and providing various sales reports for the General Manager;

    •    Endeavour to maintain an understanding of both local and national real estate markets;

    •    In addition to the above role requirements, be involved in activities designed to assist the company in gaining a greater market share, including telephone canvassing, door knocking and leaflet drops;

    •    Assist when required with any internal project undertaken;

    •    Assist the organisation achieve budgetary targets from its sales activities;

    •    Ensure motor vehicle is maintained both mechanically and aesthetically at all times, including comprehensive insurance;

    •    Ensure punctual attendance for all internal and external business commitments;

    •    Participate in key result area and key performance indicator review processes to establish areas for improvement;

    •    To perform your duties to a high professional and ethical standard;

    •    To maintain a high professional and ethical profile in accordance with industry and company standards;

    •    Maintain a well groomed and business like appearance;

    •    To be accurate with all paperwork;

    •    Keep harmonious relationship with other staff;

 

Essential knowledge & experience required: 

    •    possession of a real estate sales representative license, or be willing to obtain it within agreed timeframe;

    •    possession of a current and appropriate driver's license;

    •    excellent verbal and written English communication skills;

    •    have agreeable sales experience and/or passion;

    •    have a high degree of integrity and professionalism;

    •    a proven ability to build strong client relationships;

    •    a proven ability to achieve and exceed set targets;

    •    strong attention to detail;

    •    strong negotiation skills;

    •    an understanding of the local, national and international real estate markets;

    •    knowledge of effective marketing strategies relevant to the industry;

    •    be able to sufficiently multitask and work effectively under pressure; 

    •    have exceptional organisational and time management skills;

    •    be competent in using the Microsoft Office suite;

    •    have experience in drafting and preparing correspondence;

    •    have a positive attitude and desire to learn;

    •    be committed to continuous professional and personal development;

    •    have a polite manner with clients and colleagues; 

    •    have exceptional customer service skills;

    •    be well organised with the ability to meet deadlines;

    •    be well groomed.
