Maybe the real reason for her to quit that job was to pick a career of her interest. The result may be varied if you try a different approach. Like vs. Likely Like:1)动词;喜欢。例句:I like persons with forgiving personality.2)介词;像。 You are like your father. It is likely that he will win this match. The sun rises from the east every day.The stock price rose from $10 to $200 overnight. The salary of each employee in this company should be raised above minimum level. Confidence may affect the performance of the athletes during the game. The effect of this new training method is impressive. People nowadays use cellphones to contact each other. Internships can choose to refuse to sign their contracts if they found the workplace to be undesirable. There are three candidates in this job contest, competing for the position.2)动词;对抗,挑战。P.s. The Chinese table tennis team won an uncontested victory as always. It is inappropriate to interpret the meaning of an idiom without the context. The content of the job description did not include such tedious and repetitive ordeals.2)动词;满足。例句:The joy of finding the better half of my life contents me.
