Roam Engineering is an Australian based company that specialises in the design, supply and installation of telecommunication infrastructure, including steel self-supporting towers, monopoles and guyed masts. We also undertake the structural analysis and upgrading of existing structures.

We are looking to further grow our strong team by adding a Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer. The person should be interested in long-term employment, be keen to learn, and have ambition to develop themselves further as the company grows.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform structural design and analysis of telecommunications structures and foundations.

• Oversee the completion of engineering projects.

• Provide direction to drafting and procurement personnel.

• Research design options.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of company engineering systems.

• Uphold company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Civil and/or Structural Engineering (or higher).

• Up to 3 years full-time Civil and/or Structural engineering experience.

Required Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\

• Advanced skill in the use of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

• Understanding of AS1170, AS4100 and AS3600.

• Experienced in the use of structural design software such as Space Gass.

• Knowledge of computer programming fundamentals.

• Basic CAD skills.
