悉尼房租最贵和最便宜的区在哪里？

Double Bay成为悉尼租房最贵的区，通常独立屋子的房租每年达到12万元。

根据Domain的数据，这个位于悉尼东部的区在截至到5月的季度中中位房租要价为每周2300元。

紧随其后的是Vaucluse(2000元)， Dover Height（1800元）和Bellevue Hill(1775元）。

东区还垄断了公寓房租的前几名，而Dawes Point, The Rocks和 Miller Point的公寓周租都超过1000元。

出了拥有无敌水景外，Domain的经济学家Andrew Wilson说这些租金昂贵的区去市区非常方便。

Sydney's priciest rental suburbs revealed

Double Bay has emerged as the most expensive suburb in Sydney to rent with the typical house setting tenants back by $120,000 a year.

According to Domain Group data the median weekly asking rent in the eastern suburbs enclave was $2300 over the May quarter. Double Bay was followed by Vaucluse with a median weekly rent of $2000 as well as Dover Heights ($1800) and Bellevue Hill ($1775).

The eastern suburbs also dominated the list of the top five priciest suburbs to rent apartments with units in Dawes Point, The Rocks and Millers Point all recording median rents of more than $1000 a week.

As well as having exclusive harbourside postcodes, the senior economist at the Domain Group, Dr Andrew Wilson, said the most expensive rental suburbs offered tenants a short commute to the city.

"Though some of these renters may be commuting on their luxury yachts," he added.

The surprise inclusion in the list is Balgowlah Heights with a median weekly house rent of $1730.

"Some people don't like the harbour and prefer suburbs with a surfside aspect," Dr Wilson said.

"It also might suggest that the northern beaches is up and running again as a target for prestige dwellers."
