We have openings in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.

Consumer Banking

Our Consumer Banking division consists of four amazing brands (Westpac, St. George, Bank SA and Bank of Melbourne) made up of over 11,000 dedicated team members who together help over 8 million (and growing) consumer customers with their everyday banking needs.

As One Team, we are helping more Australians into their homes and helping them live a full life with security in retirement.

As a Consumer Banking Graduate you'll spend 12 exciting months immersed within our Consumer division, gaining insightful exposure across the full value chain of our Retail Bank. From meeting with and understanding our customers, to learning our products, working on strategic and innovative projects focusing on improving our service all to help fulfil our vision to be one of the world’s great service companies, helping our customers, communities prosper and grow.

We have openings within Sydney and Adelaide.

Your Graduate Journey

Throughout your exciting 12 month journey on program you will gain exposure and experience across the full value chain of business banking, giving you key insights into our customers and the reasons and learnings behind our innovations. You will gain insights into sales capabilities and techniques, credit analysis and understanding of compliance. Engage in portfolio and relationship management, understand the commercial banking centre framework and be part of innovative digital and transformational programs.

You will develop technical/analytical skills, industry and operational knowledge, project and product management skills, stakeholder and relationship management and negotiation and influencing skills setting you up a possible careers as a:

Local Business Banker 

Relationship Banker or Assistant Relationship Manager

Business Analyst, Change Analyst or Product Manager

Project Management, Transformation or Marketing Executive
