Junior Account Manager / Sales Relationship Management Business Development


About this Role 

This 3 days p/w part time permanent Junior Account Manager role works closely in support of the Managing Director and is responsible for exploring new business opportunities and managing relationships with Elite Club members (corporate & individual), strategic business partners, and universities.


This role requires a highly motivated experienced professional that can significantly grow accounts, maintain customer relationship, and successfully implement and maintain agreed business development strategies.


Reporting to Managing Director, this role works 22.5 hours per week across 3 days with Tuesday is a must.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Support Managing Director in all round BD related activities to include scheduling and attending client meetings, drafting proposals, following up client enquiries prior and after the meetings, etc.

  • Communication and presentation for products in client meetings, networking functions, etc.

  • Work with multiple stakeholders, including potential customer (corporate) and Elite Club members, to establish collaborations, engage industry partners and participate in workshops and events that support these aims.

  • Utilise a diversity of social media (mainly LinkedIn) as the main BD channels and tools to engage potential customer.

  • Achieve Elite Club membership (corporate) sales & market share growth in line with business plans and budgets.

  • In charge of Elite Club membership selection and enrolment process.

  • Maintain a high level of activity to ensure all members’ enquires have been responded on a timely manner.

  • Build and maintain excellent relations with key internal and external stakeholders and clients.

  • Cooperate with Sales & Marketing team to identify the business development strategy and transform to result driven communication and activities.


To be considered for this position, you need to have

  • At least 2 years business development and account management experience in education & training, immigration services, recruitment agency, consulting or recreation industry

  • Experience with cross culture working environment, APAC/China communication, or leadership in student community is preferred.

  • Proven success in sales, BD, and account management area

  • Proven BD ability in dealing with client need such as marketing events, recruitment services, etc.

  • Ability to identify opportunities and engage customers

  • Experience with sales & marketing approaches via various social media channels, especially familiar with LinkedIn.

  • Proficient in English in all round professional level communication, especially in writing and speaking.

  • Mandarin speaking is a plus.

  • Flexibility to work in occasional evenings for sales event or exhibition purpose when required.

  • Eligible working visa (Australian PR or Citizen preferred)
