485 PSW二签正式立法

在类别2偏远地区(Cities and major regional centres)可以额外续签1年的485，基本包括有 Perth, Adelaide, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Canberra, Newcastle/Lake Macquarie, Wollongong/Illawarra, Geelong and Hobart。

在类别3偏远地区(Regional centres and other regional areas)可以额外续签2年的485，基本是除了悉尼、墨尔本、布里斯班及类别2之外的其他地区。具体以邮编为准，大家可以参考下方表格：

申请人资格：

1. 在偏远地区Regional Area的大学完成本科或者以上学历的（包括研究生和博士）；同时

2. 在第一个485签证期间，一直在偏远地区居住

3. 拿到第二个485签证期间，需要一直在偏远地区居住

偏远地区Regional Area的定义：

针对 485 2签的偏远地区Regional Area的范围跟技术移民下偏远地区的范围一致，即除了悉尼，墨尔本和布里斯班以外的地区都是偏远地区。

Q1: 谁可以申请？

A1: 首先，必须是偏远地区毕业生，且毕业后持有485签证继续居住在偏远地区，在递交的那一刻之前必须居住在偏远地区满2年。

另外，根据如下法条，申请人在递交的那一刻必须持有485 PSW签证。由于2021年1月20日才开始申请，因此，意味着在2021年1月20日仍然持有有效的485 PSW签证的人，才可以申请。（这意味着，2019年1月20日之前拿到2年PSW签证的人，在2021年1月20日已经不持有485签证了，就不能申请了。）

Q2：签证时长？

A2：根据学习和生活的偏远程度，长度可能是1年或者是2年。这个1年或者2年是从下签开始算，或者是在目前的签证到期后往后加上这1年或者2年。例如，假设小明的485一签是2021年7月1日到期，如果小明2021年1月20日申请，然后在5月20日就获批，那么有效期就会到2022年7月1日（批一年的情况）。但如果小明2021年6月30日才申请，2021年10月30日才下签，那么有效期就会到2022年10月30日。因此，从签证长度利益最大化的角度，越晚申请越好。只要在签证到期之前申请就可以

Q3：我在非偏远地区上学，毕业后去偏远地区工作，还可以续签吗？

答：不符合。政策要求必须是毕业于偏远地区的校区。因此，墨尔本大学毕业生拿了485后去达尔文住两年，是不符合要求的。
