前几天无意间问了朋友一个问题：谁是第一个用英语跟你拜年的人？朋友想都没想就说了出来：“我妈！”我一脸震惊加好奇，因为据我了解这位朋友的妈妈并不会英语啊。
朋友会心一笑，说：“当时我在外面上学，过年没回去，我妈总怕我嫌她土，不知道从哪找了几句英语祝福发给我。看到妈妈发的‘Happy New Year’，我都怀疑这是不是我妈了。”
听得心里一暖。
其实这个问题挺勾回忆的。
记得小时候有一个很喜欢的英语老师，为了给她编辑一段英文祝福语，查了不少资料。后来跟来华的外国友人拜年，会礼貌性地使用英语，却遇到不少表达的瓶颈，让人啼笑皆非。
