Electrical Engineering Graduate

Summary of the role

Working in the Major Projects team this role will focus on coordinating a major project. This role will work closely with our sales team, the customer and our manufacturing teams to:

ensure the customer expectations are met
milestones are completed to schedule, including design and delivery deadlines
review documentation, drawings and designs prior to customer submission
maintain customer project file and documentation, ensuring it is accurate and up to date

You will need to coordinate across several areas of the business to ensure project targets are successfully completed on time.

The person

You will be a qualified Electrical Engineer, with an ability to make electrical design decisions. In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have:

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and basic CAD
Working knowledge of electrical switchboards, power and control circuits
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, including schematics, I/O tables
Ability to manage projects, coordinate tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong safety focus, ability to recognise safe work practices
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence others.
An obsession with quality demonstrated by attention to detail & pride in your work

This role is a contract role for the term of the project, which will be approximately 12 months in length.
