ROLE PURPOSE:

• To support the China Marketing Team to ensure sustainable growth and best use of resources across digital activities for the China market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Regional Digital Marketing Specialist

• Support Digital Marketing Projects and initiatives across China, as part of both the China Marketing team and the International Digital Marketing Team.

• Represent (and report back to) the China Marketing team in International Digital Marketing Meetings with Global Digital Marketing team.

• Be the regional custodian of the creative / digital content library.

• Be the regional expert on digital marketing, introducing knowledge of new digital trends in regional.

• Be the regional knowledge base on web CMS systems/SEO/SWOM/SEM

• Assist on planning and execution of digital marketing activities in and supporting      China, including (but not limited to) search, campaigns, websites and social media advertising.

• Carry out the reporting and analytics for campaigns & ongoing digital and social activities.

• Create insights based on analytics and implement changes based on results.

• Develop benchmarks, analytics and KPI setting during planning, execution and      review of digital projects and ongoing efforts.

• Assist the China Marketing Team with project support as required.

Digital Marketing Support

• Coordinate Blogger / Influencer activity across region

• Brief internal and external resources to generate digital assets and translate bilingually if necessary

• Assist in the proofing, brand and regulatory approval processes for all digital content, including translations to Chinese and English.

• Regional and brand website maintenance including coordinating website updates, social calendar reviews and artwork updates.

• Agency support throughout ongoing and project based arrangements including creative, execution, negotiations and digital branding.

• Provide digital marketing support to smaller markets and brands as required.

Budgets/Finance

• Assist local marketing team on setting digital project KPIs

• Manage dedicated project budget assigned by managers

Continuous Process Improvement

• Proactively suggest ideas and updates across all digital properties.

• Evaluate new technologies and applications to improve and optimize marketing team techniques and performance.

• Ensure all marketing materials are balanced, accurate, legal and responsible, that they meet the requirements of the Codes of Practice within the relevant countries in detail and in intent.
