支持配合维多利亚州政府的疫情控制4级限制措施
公开呼吁书
维多利亚州的新冠病毒疫情连续几个月持续不减，自8月2日晚宵禁开始到8月6日的四级全面疫情控制措施的实施，州政府在竭尽全力防止疫情进一步扩散方面采取了可行并且有效的措施，争取让维州居民早日回归正常生活轨道。对此我们表示坚决支持并呼吁华人社区各界，团体及个人自觉积极配合州政府做好各方面抗疫工作，遵守特殊时期的各项规定，保重健康平安渡过艰难时期。
自疫情开始，维州政府首先加大力度将各方面有关信息及时地翻译成几十种语言以便多元背景社团民众对更新的政策迅速地了解和认知；在疫情信息持续更新公布以及在工作部署不停完善落实上做出了极大的努力。尤其是在政府房住户的病毒检测和生活支持方面，更是投入了大量的人力物力警力和军队为在封闭中的稳定局面提供尽可能的综合协调，帮助减轻居民的后顾之忧；同时组建了由健康人类服务部，政府公房办及维州多元文化委员会及各个社区和居民代表的工作小组每周两次在线会员探讨措施以提高服务效率和效果。
新冠病毒对世界来讲是一个人类科学的新知，经过中国及其他国家的国际共同努力，疫情控制已经不是一个未知的领域而是如何升级防疫控疫体系重振经济的挑战。维多利亚正在抗疫的关键时刻，每一个体的努力配合对这场人疫博弈的最后胜利至关重要。
因此，我们呼吁遵守以下规定：
• 居家防感染，根据购买食品和必需品的需要每家派一人在离家5公里内的场所采购并请购物者戴好口罩。如果你所需要的食品或物品必须从离家5公里外的地方采买，请到距离最近的地方买。如果家中有需要照看的孩子或被照顾着你无法把他们留在家中单独外出，可以酌情考虑。
记住：每天每家只能由一人外出采购一次。
• 每日一次一小时外出锻炼时间，在离家5公里范围内进行。
• 当有就医需要或为他人提供照顾需要包括照顾者和监护人，5公里范围条件可以不受限制
• 外出工作不受5公里距离约束，但请带好州政府统一格式的带有雇主及你签名的工作许可表以备检查
• 宵禁期间绝不外出，严肃执行隔离要求，保护自己爱护大家
澳洲疫情半年多，作为社会一份子的华人社区大力捐款捐物为防止疫情扩散出钱出力送关爱，视抗疫为己任。在维州疫情处于高居不下的严重状态下，今天我们的携手抗疫共度时艰将助力维州迎来疫情拐点的明天，也是回归正常生活重振经济的必要前提条件之一。我们全力支持维州政府的疫情控制举措并感谢维州各党派及议员在疫情中的不懈努力。

Public Appeal
Measures for cooperating with the Victorian Government's Level 4 restrictions on its epidemic control of COVID-19
From the curfew on the evening of 2 August to the implementation of the Level four comprehensive pandemic measures on 6 August, the state government has taken feasible and effective measures to prevent the further spread of the pandemic in trying to get the residents of Victoria back on track as soon as possible.
In this regard, we express our strong support and call on all sectors of the Chinese community, organizations and individuals to consciously and actively cooperate with the state government in all aspects of anti-epidemic work, to abide by the provisions of this special period, and to take care of the health and safety of citizens in these difficult times.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, the state government has stepped up its efforts to translate all relevant information into dozens of languages in a timely manner so that the people of linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds and associations can quickly understand the updated policies. Great efforts have been made in continuously updating and publishing information on the pandemic and about improvements and implementation of work arrangements. Especially with regards to virus detection and government support to public housing residents, a lot of manpower and material resources have been invested by the police and the army to provide as much coordination and stability as possible to help alleviate the worries of the residents.
At the same time, a working group of Department of Health and Human Services, Public Housing Office, Victoria Multicultural
Commission and community and resident representatives has been set up to explore measures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service meeting twice a week.
COVID-19 is new to human science and the world. Through the international efforts of China and other countries, epidemic control is no longer an unknown, but the challenge now is how to upgrade epidemic prevention and control and revitalize the economy.
Victoria is at a critical juncture in the fight against the epidemic, and the efforts of every individual are crucial to the final defeat of the epidemic. As an Australian Chinese community, we have made donations and contributed to prevent the spread of the epidemic, we believe that due to the serious state of the epidemic in Victoria, we must work together to fight the epidemic today and help Victoria usher in a turning point in the epidemic tomorrow; it is also one of the necessary prerequisites for returning to normal life and revitalizing the economy.
We fully support the Victorian Government's epidemic control initiatives and thank Victoria’s parliamentarians for their unremitting efforts against the epidemic.
