Chinese Speaking Senior Tax Accountant

We are looking for talented and driven accountants with one to three years’ experience in business services accounting.  We are a growing accounting firm with a broad range of clients, an enthusiastic and supportive team with a culture of learning and development.  This is a great opportunity to build your skill set and further develop your career with a great team situated in new offices in the Melbourne CBD. 

The role will involve working with senior staff members and directors in servicing clients with their compliance and advisory needs primarily in the SME and high net wealth individual market.  This will include the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and activity statements as well as providing assistance with other advisory and tax planning engagements regarding to international tax issues and Common Reporting Standard (CRS) matters.  You will be supported by a senior accountant along with the rest of the team and provided with ongoing training.

What you'll need to succeed

• The role will require you to liaise customers located in China

• 4-5 years professional work experiences as a senior Accountant in Australia or China

• Fantastic communication skills in both English and Chinese who can work autonomously and as part of a team

• Fast learner who is able to adapt to new environments and pick up processes quickly

• Good problem solver who is analytically driven

• Mandarin/Cantonese speaking is essential

• CPA or CA qualified
