About You

• You’re a motivated recent graduate who brings a positive attitude and an open mindset;

• You’re resilient, curious, and open to new experiences, exploring and discovering our business;

• Have a work ethic that is aligned to Orica’s values and a genuine enthusiasm for building a career at Orica in Safety, Health, Environment (SHE)

Program Experience

• Orica's program runs over 2 years/ 3 rotations;

• Rotation will include being part of our blasting and manufacturing operations, located around Australia;

• Your first rotation will be specifically aligned to safety, supporting shaping a clear career path in SHES within Orica;

• You’ll be able to develop long-term career relationships with graduates in our Australian operations and in the broader global graduate community;

• You’ll be involved in and engaging with our people working in mining and civil blasting across the globe;

• You will be offered experiences to understand how works gets done to enable the SHES team to maximise safe outcomes and provide simplicity to our customers (our operators) in everything that we do.

• Your professional development will be guided by a personalised learning plan, including structured online learning, an external one-on-one coach and development workshops.

  
  

Program Eligibility

• Hold a Bachelor Science or Masters with a major in Occupational Health and Safety Science/ Health, Safety and Environment or equivalent degree;

• Be an Australian/ New Zealand Citizen or have Australian Permanent Residency (confirmed status or pending approval);

• Be willing to relocate as required for rotation, sometimes to remote locations across Australia;

• Have a minimum average GPA of 65 and above;

• Be living in Australia and be able to attend selection stages in person if required.
