Job description:

The Operational Planning team is looking for a smart, analytical, passionate, and motivated graduate to help us continue delivering efficient, robust and passenger-focused daily timetables and driver rosters.
The role will require you to report to either the Team Leader of Timetable Delivery or Driver Roster Delivery, where you will plan and deliver reliable daily timetables and efficient driver rosters, incorporating day of operation requirements including Special Events (AFL, Races etc) and temporary track closures. In an industry that is ever-evolving, the team are passionate about continuous improvement and looking for the right person to challenge the status quo and bring their fresh ideas to keeping Melbourne moving.

• You will bring technical experience in systems and data analysis and use these to inform business decisions.
• You thrive on a challenge and are constantly going over and above to come up with new solutions to drive improvements and efficiencies.
• You come to us with a thirst to learn, a drive to succeed and a strong teamwork ethos.
• You are pragmatic, analytical and can think laterally to bring innovation to the table.
• Graduates from Business, Science or Engineering with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and an interest to contribute to sound business and performance improvement strategies.
• You will have a proven ability to identify and analyse processes, making suggestions and corrective improvements.
