POSITION TITLE: Marketing Manager
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: China

RESPONSIBLE TO: China Business Manager
LOCATION: 6 Oppenheim Way, Dandenong South
ROLE PURPOSE:
Responsible for driving the marketing strategy and leading the marketing team to implement the marketing plan to maximise brand exposure and business opportunity for China. This includes managing the planning and executions of Australian Chinese cross border marketing as well as the China mainland marketing.
TERRITORIES:
China, Australian Export to China (including Daigou and Retail export stores)
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Marketing Strategy and Marketing Plan development
Develop the marketing strategy to support the overall business strategy for both China cross-border and mainland market
Develop marketing plans and lead time with flawless implementation
Guardian of Ego marketing process and follow the global Ego brand guidelines
Develop consumer and shopper insights, market segmentation
Regular tracking and assessing brand performance
Drive Sales and market share
To partner seamlessly with China sales team to ensure all marketing supports to drive the sales and brand market share growth
Marketing Budgets management
To manage controllable expenses to ensure they are within marketing budgets.
To ensure effectiveness of expenditure and budget
Innovation and new growth opportunity
Develop marketing innovation and potential new products for the future growth
Team management
Effective team management to continue grow the capability of the team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop marketing strategy and manage annual marketing plan for brand and sales growth for China market, including cross-border marketing and China marketing.
Consumer and shopper insights development, market segmentation understanding
Work closely with global digital team to plan and manage multi-marketing campaigns priority on Digital/ Social / Celebrities and KOL integrated marketing and therapeutic marketing for China market.
Collaborate with both internal marketing team and external marketing resources to maximize campaign impact by following Ego guidelines.
Monitor, perform in-depth analyses and report on campaign performance & ROI
Keep abreast of China market trend, systematically scan marketing and competitive landscape for inspiration and put forward innovative ideas to impact customer engagement, revenue and efficiency continuously
New Products and New Ideas into the Market, maintain growth momentum
Manage controllable marketing expenses to maximize budget efficiency
Market and industrial insight, data analysis and consumer knowledge deep-dive
Brand positioning optimization with Chinese consumer segments and insight
Effective team management to continue grow the capability of the team
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience in marketing field from manufacture or agency
Experience of China cross border business or marketing is a bonus
FMCG or pharmaceutical related industry background. From industries of (but not limit to) Infant/ Mum & Baby categories, nutrition, Cosmetic or China related
Familiar with China Digital/ E-commerce and Social world
Degree educated, marketing or business related degree
Excellent communication skills and both English and Mandarin
Multi-tasking and respond well to pressure
Mobility of travel and flexibility of working hours, self-disciplined and motivated
Start-up or e-commerce experience is a plus
Allow to work long term in Australia (PR or citizens etc.)
