THE POSITION
MECCA Brands are experiencing growing demand for reporting and data analysis in various areas of the business, in particular the CRM and Loyalty function. As a result, there is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and analytically-minded Data Analyst to join our CRM Team.
Reporting to the Head of CRM & Loyalty, the Data Analyst will have the ability to interpret and analyse customer and loyalty data to generate actionable insights, provide comprehensive reporting and respond to adhoc data requests. This role will also have an opportunity to work closely with other data analysts across the business, as well as the IT team.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing, implementing and maintaining standard reports;
Providing in-depth pre and post campaign and ROI analysis, as well as market and customer insights;
Customer profiling, segmentation and predictive modelling;
Developing and implementing loyalty dashboards, self-service and BI tools;
Identifying opportunities to drive customer engagement, profitability and growth; and
Developing and maintaining relevant documentation to business users;
THE PERFECT PROFILE
2+ years of experience in data, campaign analysis and reporting, preferably in retail;
Experience with accurately interpreting briefs, performing the required analysis and presenting actionable insights back to the business;
Experience in developing dashboards and data visualization tools;
Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating datasets;
Passionate about new technologies and willing to learn and apply new data manipulation and analysis tools;
Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills; and
Strong attention to details.
Preferred:
Exposure to web analytics, CRM platforms and other marketing systems (Email Platforms, CRM Systems, Campaign Management, Loyalty Engines, POS, GA, etc).
Experience with Python/R language, specifically data analysis packs
Exposure to AWS data warehouse environment.
