We have a new exciting role for an experienced Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Group FP&A Manager and Head of FP&A in all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting for the consolidated group.

Reporting into the Group Financial Planning and Analysis Manager the Key Responsibilities of the role Include:

• Assist the Group FP&A Manager and Head of FP&A in Group-level budget analysis, constructively challenging assumptions and data.

• Assist with the project management of budget and forecast activities in close collaboration with the FBPs, aligned with broader business targets and timelines.

• Preparation of Group analysis and reporting for senior executives on the budgeting and forecasting process, including the identification of cost and revenue drivers as well as savings initiatives;

• Assist with maintaining a rolling forecast process for the current financial year;

• Be an active contributor to the continuous improvement in the budgeting and forecasting process

• Prepare and maintain divisional profit and loss models including methodology for allocations of corporate overheads.  

• Assist the wider FP&A team in ad-hoc activities as required.

• Assist the Group FP&A Manager in maintaining the integrity of the budgeting and forecasting system;

• Assist in process improvement and automation through the review and recommendation of modifications to systems and procedures.

• Complete the ACCC statutory reporting on commercial returns by business unit and lending documents reporting requirements, (Tripartite accounts).

The ideal candidate:

• Tertiary ualification in Finance, Commerce or similar.

• Highly analytical and technically competent, with experience in reporting / forecasting and reviewing the quality and accuracy of data.

• CPA or CA qualified, or currently studying; minimum of 5 years' experience with 2-3 years of directly relevant experience.

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated analytical problem solving approach that uses research, insights and data to inform decision making.

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with a track record of effectively managing multiple stakeholders.

• Proven ability to prioritise, multitask and work to deadlines in a fast-changing environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record communicating effectively across all levels of the organisation.

• Excellent team player who is responsive, engages in a positive, can-do manner, and effectively adapts to changing circumstances.
