1 x Graduate Engineer (Network Engineering)
Network Assets are responsible for all aspects of the engineering management of Power System electrical assets at AusNet Services.
Gaining ‘frontline’ experience in the field, this opportunity encompasses hands on engineering practices.
Tasks typically include preparing cost and scope estimates for new works, monitoring reliability and condition of assets, preparing and maintaining technical standards and providing maintenance support for operational groups within the business.
If you think you will enjoy getting into the assets and making things work, you will enjoy this role.
Qualification requirement: Electrical Engineering Bachelor Degree minimum.
2 x Graduate Engineers (Energy Solutions)
These are two incredible opportunities within our growing Mondo Power team.
We specialise in advanced energy management solutions for both commercial and community partners with a focus on distributed energy resource (DER) offerings.
You will help us develop our range of innovative energy solutions, including renewable energy options, for our customers.
Working within a growth area of the energy sector, you will provide technical engineering support in renewable energy systems, including integration of mini-grids, solar and battery storage systems, and energy management control systems that are necessary to compete in a DER environment.
Qualification requirement: Electrical Engineering Bachelor Degree minimum.
1 x Graduate Engineers (Power Engineering)
One opportunity exists with our Infrastructure Services area which provides engineering support and technical input to business development and project delivery activities with a commercial focus.
Infrastructure Services manage various innovative energy solutions such as connection of windfarms to our transmission network.
Be involved in the delivery of sharp techno-commercial solutions that will differentiate AusNet Services’ offering in the market as the energy partner of choice for renewable energy proponents and other market participants.
Qualification requirement: Electrical Engineering Bachelor Degree minimum.
2 x Graduate Engineers (Technology Division)
Two coveted opportunities for graduate electrical engineers exist to join our Operational Technology (OT group) within the Technology division at AusNet Services.
This team safely design, deliver and support real time systems that enable the business to achieve its Electricity & Gas network reliability and performance objectives.
Four teams cover the SCADA Master Station, Remote SCADA Systems across Victoria, Distribution and Outage Management Applications and Geospatial Information Systems Applications.
Qualification requirement: Electrical Engineering Bachelor Degree minimum.
1 x Business Graduate (Strategy & Planning)
Joining the Strategy and Planning team, you will be a member of a team responsible for supporting the Business and Community Energy group in developing market entry strategies, business and financial planning, as well as business and revenue models for innovative services.
This is an exciting role for professionals who are passionate about business innovation and enjoy problem solving.
Qualification requirement: Business; Commerce; or Economics Bachelor Degree minimum. Double degree with Engineering highly desired but not essential.
1 x Graduate Developer – IT (Software Delivery)
Joining the Software Delivery team, you will be part of the team that creates all the relevant software products and platforms that we deliver.
These products and platforms range from energy trading microgrids to work force management for utilities to LiDAR data capture and analysis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a developer who wants to move with the energy industry and work with cutting edge technology.
Qualification requirement: Software Development; Software Engineering; or Computer Science Bachelor Degree minimum.
